Momiji Japanese Buffet Restaurant (已結業)

If you have been to city square mall, you would know that this shopping mall has low human traffic despite it being a newly opened shopping mall. The F&B outlets are never packed except for this restaurant and there is a good reason for this. For 2011's New Year's Eve, I headed down to this place to enjoy a worth your money Japanese buffet. The selection offered by this restaurant is extensive and it includes free flow of snow crab, sashimi, sushi and at least 30 more items. Here is a summary of

i went to momiji with a couple of friends for a buffet outing. The spread at momiji is quite sumptuous from sashimi to chawamushi to seafood. The seafood is simply fresh, from the prawns to the mussels, everything taste sweet and juicy. the chawamushi is very smooth and taste. I like the way it slides down my throat. Went there with my classmates and to our horror, it wasn't there anymore and heard from another friend they moved to City Square at Farrer Park MRT. I really love their salmon there, it's so awesome and fresh that I can finish two plates of it on my own. Similar concept as Kushinbo. At momiji, it is less crowded and cheaper. Only at $32 per adult. The service was perfect. They clear your plates really fast unlike Kushinbo whereby they don't even bother to clear your super full table.
