There have been quite a number of ShengKee outlets popping up across the island. I think one can easily spot one of its outlets in any of the major shopping malls. The food choices here are not plentiful but its price is considerably affordable.Out of most of their noodle or rice items which I had tried so far, my highly recommended one would be the Minced Pork Hor Fun. Just had my lunch in this restaurant. The environment was quite spacious and cooling. The service here is abit slow and not that friendly. Dumpling noodles portion was quite generous and noodles are very chewy. Dunplings are filled with lots of juicy minced meat as well. The dumpling skin is very smoot h and thin. Big bao has very chewy bun skin that really fragrant and not too dry. Meat inside is also very fresh and juicy. For less than $10 per meal is quite value for money.,

I had eaten here before and was particularly impressed with the quality of the food even though it is a casual restaurant with no service charge (you need to order at the counter). I love the smoothness of the dumplings here and the portion is just right for me. I never paid much attention to HK Sheng Kee Desserts because I often associate it with 'chinese desserts'-- black sesame paste, dumplings, soy bean curd and my only impression of the food they serve is wanton noodles.
