BBQ Beer Butt Chicken ($38.80++)
You'll need to pre-order this dish at least 1 day in advance as it's preparation will be pegged to your arrival timing. The waitress first presents the chicken (in its original cooked form) for our visual amusement before cutting it into smaller pieces for our dining pleasure. This is a really fantastic dish as the chicken is so smooth and tender that it literally melts in your mouth. The chicken exudes a hint of light beery flavour and the beer infused sauce further complemented the chicken. This dish comes with a generous portion of fries as well!

T-Bone Steak ($34.80++)
The steak was luscious and flavourful, with plenty of marbling. Why choose a single cut when you could have the best of both worlds? And for those who like their steak to exude a smoky fragrance, this is definitely a must order!

Button Mushroom ($13.50++)
Sadly, their sides were a far cry from the mains. The fried button mushrooms were too floury and oily, masking the natural juices and sweetness of the Portobello mushrooms. Simply a waste of quality ingredients

Calamari ($12.90++)
Likewise for the calamari, I found the batter to be too thick and oily. The calamari seemed overcooked as well as it was rather tough to chew.

 Overall, the mains were superb whilst the sides were mediocre and not really worth the price tag. And for those promotion enticed folks, they are currently offering a 20% off during lunch happy hours from Mon-Sats!

Ambience - With many decoration and nice set-up all-over the place. However, there still have room for improvement.

Value - Worth it in terms of unique place.

Although the service was average, the burger was pretty nice filling too. The BLooiE's Bacon Cheese Burger not only has bacon; beef lovers will be thrilled to know that there is grilled beef patty in it too! The patty is smothered in cheese then served on a fresh hot bun. It sounds sinful, doesn't it? All burgers come with a side of either thick cut fries or potato salad.

Conclusion: It was a Nice Hang Out Place (For example, chill out with some finger food and a can of beer in hand while watching a football match or tennis tournament at the same time), but I felt that the portions there are relatively small. They have quite a wide selection of foods and drinks. Music was okay.

I guess I would like to come back here again since it's so near my office and I still have lots of coupons to be utilised before 31 October 2011. Moreover, the place left me a good impression after we went to the one at East Coast.

Wanted to meet up with my former teacher & didnt knw where to go for lunch & catch up with each other. She asked whether i was okay with American western food & suggested going to Blooie's at the Rail Mall (Upper Bukit Timah) for lunch. When i saw the menu, my 1st thought was 'omg, it's quite ex!'. After eating though, i don't mind as much as before as the food was really nice, especially the deep fried button mushrooms ($13.30)! The juice from the mushrooms literally burst out into your mouth o

After eating though, i don't mind as much as before as the food was really nice, especially the deep fried button mushrooms ($13.30)! The juice from the mushrooms literally burst out into your mouth on the first bite! It's nothing like I ever ate & i'm been trying hard to replicate it at home, but to no avail (it doesn't turn out that juicy). For mains, ordered a bacon carbonara for myself, while my teacher had a medium rare steak. Both were just as good, a really satisfying lunch indeed! Will surely come back for my mushrooms soon!
