The price is reasonable for a meal. I had steamed white chicken which I enjoyed as the meat was fresh and tender. The rice was not oily and smelt fragrant too.

The chicken rice was acceptable, not too salty and was rather fragrant. The chicken too was tender, not too fat and I especially like the sauce of the chicken. Katong Shopping Centre has a very reach history and so are all the stores at the basement kopitiam. This chicken rice store has been around for ages.The soup was delicious despite being a common soup that you can find anywhere around the corner.Chicken taste juicy and tender.The char siew on the other hand was overly BBQ, too hard to chew.After all, it is the chicken that matter right? Total spending was $14 which is reasonable.
