At the first look, one only notices the cute cute looking cupcakes at the counter. So cute. At the side, there is also loaf cakes on display. Looking at the dripping looking Lemon Yogurt loaf cake, I just want to eat it at once. Each costs $4 a piece. I always like to browse around at Dessert Cup for their pretty and colourful desserts. While I was there I decide to buy some cakes back and got Choco Banana, Toasty Almonds and Yuzu Citrus. They were going 3 for $10. A long time ago Dessert.cup used to boost some of the most interestingly designed cupcakes in Singapore (in my opinion). I mean you do see them but not in a retail outlet. Their designs are more for the made to order kind.I am such a fan of all things pretty and food and so i squealed with joy when i saw these cupcakes. I was hungry and did not know what to eat. I saw the crowd at the Desset.cup and wondered what so wonderful about the simple cup cake. I decded to purchase a chocolate cup cake with gold dust on top with cream.The impression given to me was the cup cake is a plain cup cake. I am not a cake fan. However, on the first bite with the cream, the aroma of the butter fragance heighten the aptitude to crave for the cake. I will consider for the second time to taste for other cakes.

The service was not very good as the staff hardly understood me when I called them over the phone, but communication was fine when I approached them face-to-face. I collected it quickly as I was in a rush and just grabbed a box with four flavours. I was really busy that day and had to rush around with it while holding onto it. Sister bought this while shopping after work. Fabulous Chocolat ($4.50)Dark Valrohna chocolate ganache, jasmine infused double chocolate chip cake.This is one of the outlet signature flavours. Very chocolate and sinful looking. So beautifully decorated that it hurts to eat it. But based the way sister hasfinished off the cake, it is just forgettable. Maybe she has too high expectation.

It was valentines day which i have yummy valentines muffin brought from dessert cup!! It was a surprise gift from my boyfriend!There are 6 muffin in the box which have 3 are of the same chocolate flavour and pattern. Another 3 was strawberry flavour with the different heart candy design put on the muffin! It was definitely nice, i specially like the chocolate muffin there is melted chocolate in the muffin!! Yummy! Definitely worth the try!!

Dessert cup is another cupcake concept at raffles city. Personally I think they taste pretty much the same as that of twelve cupcakes, but they are generally bigger in size. Here their big size goes at $4.50 - $6, while twelve cupcakes are smaller in size and a dollar or so cheaper. They have a huge range of variety of cupcakes! Cupcakes might be the impression that they look good but don't taste good. But some seasonal limited edition flavors have convinced me to splurge on them despite having always been ignoring them no matter how attractive they are. ordered this for a party. seriously, it is very pretty and very well presented BUT the taste is really nothing fantastic. but the visual effect makes up for it. the cake is not very moist and the colouring used on the cake does get sickening. love the marshmallows on the cake. the butter cream frosting isn't very tasty either. and it's pretty expensive. luckily these are mini cupcakes or i don't think i could finish even a whole full-sized one as it's just not a very good cupcake!

the cupcakes here are very good for gifts as they are very well presented. they are so well presented that they look inedible - like plasticine. in fact they don't taste fantastic. the amount of food colouring is too much. can make you feel sick. i wouldn't recommend this unless for presentation purposes. i am wondering if my gut is turning green from all that food colouring. tried one and it was enough. it's not cheap either. in fact it is overpriced. still haven't found any place in singapoer

Brought some of the Valentine's day limited edition strawberry rosewater roses cupcake. For the limited edition cupcake, there is actually two types of design which is roses and Hydrangeas to choose from with three different flavours made available. (Strawberry Rosewater, Chocolat Rosewater and French Vanille Rosewater) Firstly, the appearance of the cupcake looks appealing with a nice pink colour sprinkle with some sugar bits. They sell drinks and other stuff here but the cupcakes are the eye catcher. Love the pink cupcakes which are a show stealer. You can custom them according to your occassion. Love that these ones do not have an overdose of cream on top and not too much colouring. The pinks and reds make it very pretty. Tastes alright too. Love the heart-shaped pink marshmallow on top. Good for valentine's day! The cupcakes are pretty small, so it's rather expensive in the end.

It's X'mas time now and everyone's bringing out the X'mas cakes. here, it's colourful cupcakes which you can custom order or buy off the shelf. There's a lot of food colouring used here and it's not for the health conscious. The cupcakes do not really differ in taste but the decoration on them are different. It is almost too pretty to eat! There are so many different cupcake decorations that you get confused as to which one is best. They also stock X'mas cookies. Rather overpriced for cupcakes..
