Feeling hungry after shopping at Ikea, we headed to the cafe for some snacks. We ordered the nuggets and fries which costs around $3.90. Both the nuggets and fries tasted cold as I believed it was left on the shelf for some time. The fries were quite oily as well. There is a huge crowd at Ikea cafe, so be prepared to wait for a while.

Over there on weekends, it is packed with people so please be prepared to keep a look out for seats and perhaps got to wait for around 10 minutes till you find seats.My family ate this together at Level 2 before we set off to shop for furnitures! Therefore it is a good place whereby family and friends can come here and happily shop/ walk around!I love their meatballs together with the jams that they do sell and potato! (+) Gravy!!! One of the main reasons why I frequent Ikea is because of their cafe! Hahaha! Their swedish meatballs is simply one of the best I’ve tried before. Craving for snacks after shopping, we decided to have the cheese potato with fries from Ikea Café. It costs $4.50 which we felt the price was average. The cheese potato was warm but tasted dry. The fries were oily as well. Overall, it tasted average and were not really up to our expectations.

I tried their ligonberry drink which is a Swedish drink. It was sweet but there was a tinge of sourness which made the drink slurping good. I think Ikea reduced the size of their soft drink cups. Just two mouthfuls and the cup was half empty, I had to keep going to refill it. Their chicken wings today were not as tasty as usual. Meatballs are the must order dish whenever I dine in at Ikea. The meatballs are really very juicy and the texture is very good (not rubbery). The meatballs taste great on their own already, but for those who want more flavours, the meatballs also some with their sauce and some jam. The sweet jam is a nice contrast to the saltish meatballs. It is a combination that is different but works.

The cream of tomato soup is very delicious. It is very thick and the cream and the tomato taste blends very well together. The cream taste is not too strong. If you are a Chocolate lover then you might be delighted to try this new item on the menu. It is called the Chocolate Mousse. It is something that you either love it or hate it. Well their meatballs need no introduction as it is so famous already! The queue is long as usual, however it is definitely worth the wait! The meatballs taste perfect with the sauce that came along. Didn’t expect meatballs could go well with jam. The jam was sweet and the sauce was thick. Love it!

The meat balls are never too dry and when you have it with the cream, the taste was so good.
