Jia Jia Le Mixed Rice - Koufu (已結業)

Ordered one meat and two vegetables which costs $2.60The portion was quite a lot and it makes me full.Got the sausage and fried egg, cabbage and tou kwa.The looks and colours of the sausage with fried eggs looks delicious However, the dishes were a little too salty. it's nice though, the cabbage remains crunchy, but the cabbage and sausage fried egg is slightly heavier on the taste. Would have been better if its not so salty:x

Had a pack of rice with spinach, some fried fish pieces and an egg tofu. The dishes tasted just average. First, the rice was rather dry and clumped together. Needed some water to go with the meal to go easy on the throat. The fish had not fishy smell but the taste was average. The vegetables were not as crisp as expected from the colour but the egg tofu tasted not bad, very smooth.

Side dishes for today lunch look appealing. So I decided to ordered a plate for lunch.Ordered stir fried chicken with ginger slices, ladyfinger and deep fried beancurd.For the chicken, soft and tender texture, not overcooked, chicken was cut into small cubes that is acceptable, well seasoned. Chicken gravy was too watery, can be improved. As for the ladyfingers, well cooked, soft and chewy texture, not very sticky, seasoning a little bland and oily. Lastly, the deep fried beancurd is my favourit

This stall offers a variety of side dishes to choose from. I have chosen the Chinese Tofu, Bitter Gourd and the Deep Fried Chicken for my lunch.Firstly, the Chinese tofu was well cooked, with a soft and smooth texture. Flavour was acceptable, not so salty nor sweet.Secondly, the taste of the Bitter Gourd was not that bitter as compared to other mixed rice stall.
