Since I'm on leave today, I head down to Lot1 McDonald's for the legendary Samurai Burger (Double)! 2 slices of tender & juicy beef patties soaked in sweet teriyaki sauce, top up with mayonnaise and crunchy lettuce. Got the Caramel Macchiato ($3.20) as a quick perk-me-up. Compared to Starbuck's Caramel Macchiato, this one is less thick but sweeter. The foam was smooth and glided down my throat. Even after leaving it out for quite some time, the drink still retained its distinct coffee aroma. Perhaps it has something to do with the coffee beans. I've always had a weakness for fries. Even though I know about the health drawbacks of fries, I can't help but indulge in fries once in a while. I bought the McDonald's fries that came with a packet of citrus thai seasoning. After shaking the bag to make sure that the seasoning was evenly spread out, I eagerly grabbed one fry to try. I went to McDonald's to buy back breakfast for the family. I was a little bored of the usual drinks they served with the breakfast so i opted to change my drink to Iced Latte. I never noticed they sold such drinks as i seldom look at the beverage menu. their Iced Latte tasted pretty good. it was not too sweet as they only added one pump of sugar syrup. i really like the bitterness of the drink as it really perks me up.…查看更多

Did you know that as an NSF... you dont actually earn that much... During my NS time, i had the opportunity to go to other camps for meetings etc but anyways one day i was supposed to go to Mandai Hill Camp and we headed there but before that since we had 2 hours i decided to head over to MCD for my breakfast.... it was so epic... We went in there and there was quite a huge group of ITE students but because i was in uniform... $1 for a piping hot apple pie! The two long rectangle pastry enclosing the slices of cinnamon sugared apples inside, is my favorite dessert from Macdonald's! My best friend visited me a few days back and bought me an Iced Chocolate from McDonald's knowing I am a crazy chocolate fan. I hadn't tasted one before so she told me to keep it in the freezer for a while and then have it chilled. So I put it to chill in the refrigerator. After about 10mins or so I took it out and then took a big sip of it with the straw. I just loved it, specially since it had bits of chocolate in it and it tasted of whipped cream. Brought a set of the double cheese burger meal for lunch.Firstly, the beef patty is well cooked, soft and tender texture, well seasoning as well. This burger is topped with cheese, tomato sauce with chopped onion and pickles. The burger itself is soft and has a slight buttery flavour. Twister fries is back! I came here mainly for the twister fries too. I ordered the McGrill chicken burger. Chicken is tender and very well marinated. It is really delicious. The twister fries was the highlight of the meal. It was crispy and flavored, very much better than the usual fries they have, although it is slightly saltier. A very worthwhile Mcvalue lunch at $5 due to upsize to get the promotional glass can. The bun is fresh and soft. The fish filet has a very nice crispy golden finish and does not have the fish skin inside. They added quite a lot of tar tar sauce to give it a nice sour taste. The cheese was quite a small piece, but was nicely melted onto the filet. The fries today was exceptionally delicious, probably because they sprinkled enough salt on it. I was studying at Mac the other day with my friends and we got sick of the ice creams that they served there. It was until that one of our friend pointed out that there is a new kind that we realised that the banner was hanging in front of us all along. The two new flavours were strawberry shortcake and mud pie. Being a chocolate lover, I opted for mud pie while my other friends took strawberry short cake. Apparently it turned out that the ice creams were just normal mcflurry with a lot of chocolate sundae or strawberry Sundae syrup.My mud pie ice cream tasted really good! I doubt the name McDonald's would need further promotion, not just islandwide, it's worldwide.Anyway it was a lazy weeknight where my boyfriend and I caught a midnight movie at a neighbourhood place. Usually, it'd be supper after movie yes? With McDonald's being convenienty there for us, we couldn't refuse.What a pig out. We had a Mcspicy burger meal upsized(twister fries then), 20 pieces chicken nuggets with lots of curry sauce, and a hot fudge sundae to end it off. All those calories sure made us guilty as any.
