Another breakfast choice

You will never run out of breakfast ideas with this stall. Their standard menu for the morning is nasi lemak which I have previously review. And there are also mee rebus and mee siam to choose from. Once awhile you get to see their spicy mee goreng and spicy silver needles noodles aka rat noodles (lao shu fen). So fortunately today, I spotted lao shu fen so I just have it for breakfast at affordable price of $1.50 (which includes the price of a hashbrown). Of course this one is a Muslim style of

So fortunately today, I spotted lao shu fen so I just have it for breakfast at affordable price of $1.50 (which includes the price of a hashbrown). Of course this one is a Muslim style of cooking so is all about spicy, as compared to Chinese style will be just putting black sauce into it.

The noodles is cooked with their chilli and egg. Very simple yet taste very nice. The spiciness is overwhelming though still at a tolerable level. You do need a little oiliness for this but not overdoing it and it has met the expectation. All they need is maybe add some vegetables to it. Less sinful for weight watchers. I wonder if anyone can tolerate spiciness early in the morning for breakfast. May not be good but once a while should be fine. Drink more water or green tea.

As for the hashbrown, nothing much to comment because it is still as crispy as before. Nice option.

To start off your day, have something heavy for your breakfast. And I had nasi lemak to perk me up on a mid week.The stall gives a generous amount of rice for their nasi lemak and for a small eater like me, I am unable to finish it and instead, the sides like sunny side-up, ikan bilis and cucumber will be finished. Their chilli is one of the best. You really must have good and nice chilli to go along with the rice. And here it never fails. The rice is a little soft with way bits of sticky. That

Their chilli is one of the best. You really must have good and nice chilli to go along with the rice. And here it never fails. The rice is a little soft with way bits of sticky. That is considered good, at least not too dry which actually will spoil the overall taste.

The price is at $1 but usually I will add on with a hashbrown and that cost only $1.50 in total. Where can you get that outside? I think is rather hard now. Worth the try.

this store always has a long queue during lunch time so today finally managed to try it for breakfast. i ordered just the side dishes to try without rice. the harshbrown and chicken nuggets were ok, i guess it has been re-fried many times so the meat was kind of hard but still nice to eat. the sauages in tomato sauce was quite nice especially when eaten with rice. i think the variety for the dishes were not too bad but the portion tend to be little

Muslim Mixed Vegetable Rice

In Science Frontier, there is this Muslim stall that sells pretty good Muslim food especially the mixed vegetable rice. The queue is especially long between 12 – 1.30pm which is comparable to Astons. The beef rendang is a must pick for beef lovers because it is very soft and tender. Those that I have tasted so far previously have been difficult to chew which makes my jaw tired. I think bitter gourd with egg, lemon chicken and squid are quite delectable as well. The price is also reasonable as a plate of 2 meats and 1 vegetable costs $2.60.
However, people who love tempeh may be disappointed because in my view it isn’t the best that I have tasted. Perhaps downsides of this Muslim food stall is the food can be quite oily and there are quite a lot of fried food which can be unhealthy.
