Located right next to Pine Garden's Cake is their sister outlet, Next Door Deli. One would expect them to sell tons of sweet cakes and desserts, but no. They only sell eclairs, chiffon cakes and some cheesecakes, nothing compared to their sister. They do let you buy cakes from next door and bring it over to eat.They sell mainly western dish except for the fried mee siam or fried laksa. 1. Came to this restaurant last night to have my meal with my fellow friends.  I have only ordered the grilled chicken, which is their popular dish here, which cost $7.80 per serving.  Portion served was not really that much and good enough to just satisfy one person.  Chicken meat was tender and juicy and the chicken skin was grilled till really fragrant as well.  THe mashed potato was served quite cold and was abit too dry. This sister cafe is just beside Pine Garden and you can also buy slices of cakes from Pine garden and bring it over here to enjoy with your meal.They have an ongoing promotion where you can get drinks at 50 percent off here if you purchase any cakes from Pine Garden.I ordered the plate of fish and chips for about $7 and it tasted really normal.The chicken wings which are on promotion at just 90cents each is a better deal as they are big and juicy.

Chicken steak dish I had was pretty good. For approx $7, you get to dine in a cafe and the portion was decent enough to fill. I enjoyed my chicken steak very much. It was grilled to perfection and not too oily for my waistline. Besides that, we had a dory fillet as well. This dish was however a little disappointing. Quite surprised to find this pretty cafe in the neighbourhood of ang mo kio. We ordered chicken wings, fried laksa and pork & beef open burger. the chicken wing cost only 90cents, but the taste was so super it left me wanting more. If not for the sake of watching my wasitline, i really had the urge to order a few more. The wok fried laksa was very special. A little spicy and oily but the taste of laksa, dry version is very unique. The fish cake that was served with it was very fresh and crunchy.

Tried this Teriyaki Chicken at the Next Door Deli and I think that the serving given is kind of small which I could simply finish the whole piece of Teriyaki Chicken in just a few bites. However, the taste of the Teriyaki Chicken is pretty nice, it's not too salty and it does has a mild sweetness in the Teriyaki sauce. Nestled around the area where Cheng San Cooked Food Centre and Wet Market is located, Next Door Deli is a neighbourhood cafe run by the same guys by Pine Garden's Cake right beside the cake shop. It's pretty nicely named as it's indeed the deli located next door from the cake shop, and while the cake shop looks more traditional with wooden furnishings, Next Door Deli adopted a modern yet nostalgic look on both it's exterior and interior which is rather chic for a cafe located in the heartlands.I

Creative with their name, and opening next to the famous pines bakery, i had high expectation of the food here. I ordered the fried laksa. Who would think of having dried laksa right? The food came, and looks like a usual fried noodle, just with the slight spiciness of laksa. It comes with a fried wings and otah, which highly reminds me of nasi lemak. I added dessert, which is a slice of chiffon cake. Margarita Chiffon Cake, is strangely refreshing. The cake is light as well. Love it!

My friend and I decided to have lunch at Next Door Deli on a Sunday afternoon. We reached there pretty late, but because they were having a 20% discount for their Tea Time orders from 2pm to 5pm, we were in for a treat! Trying to split the bill amongst yourselves? Save the hassle as you pay individually when you collect your food. Yes, it is self service and therefore no service charge! This neighborhood cafe has been a new hangout to chill. I was here a couple of times for lunch or sometimes just for a drink and a bar of their signature brownie. They serve one of the better brownie that i tried in Singapore. They should have consider serving it with ice cream! With or without ice cream, it still tasted as good. The texture was soft and moist with a hint of quality chocolate taste. This brownie is definitely worth coming back for.

This is the sister outlet of Pine Garden. They have different set lunches for different day. It happened to be fish & chips on the day when i was there. I decided to order it. It somehow reminded me of the fish & chips that i had in IKEA. It tasted very similar. The set consists of a piece of fried dory fillet, french fries and coleslaw. I visited my friends house and she told me about this new deli that is opened next to a famous bakery which is operated by the same owner. We decided to have lunch there. I order the fish and chips. The portion of was not too big but the fish was nice and crispy. The fries was standard but the coleslaw was nice but was too little.

No frill. Simple. This newly opened cafe is operated by the same group behind Pine Garden's Cake and is located just next door of their bakery. There are different set lunches available daily. I went during their soft opening to try out their fish and chips. The set came with french fries and coleslaw.
