chicken.and roasted.i love those wedges.even if they were a little too salty.but that's seasoning for you.ask for mayo.yes, that's extra fat. oh well.if only those were mushy peas.the chicken was a reasonable size.too much for one but too little for two.order that and perhaps a side to spilt.we had a club sandwich too.hmm.there's a reason why it's named a dessert cafe.i think the desserts score a lot better.

The desserts here are fabulous. The restaurant is usually crowded at peak hours, so be sure to book ahead!This is the booboo cake ($6 - $7). It is actually chocolate cake. I felt that it was perfect and the sweetness was just right. Frankly, the desserts are actually the highlight of all NYDC restaurants. I think this is the Cobbs salad. Came here for dinner with the family on a saturday night. I ordered the grilled portobello mushroom sandwich which was a really interesting combination and worked really well. The mushroom was fresh and juicy and grilled to perfection. Paired with the crunchy ciabatta bread and slices of tomatoes this made healthy eating really easy! The sandwich also came with fries which were tasty and crunchy.

My daughter and I stopped by nydc for desserts after our shopping. There are quite a variety of cakes to choose from but we both decided to try the cookie mudpie. I was glad that we did so. I truly am blowed over by the taste of this dessert! It is really rich and sweet and really very delicious. I love the cookie chunks within the pie and the mocha fudge taste as well. It is definitely my favourite dessert at nydc.

And nothing better than nachos at NYDC!New on their menu were these nachos and dips.And of course, a dip lover like me was more than happy to see that there were three types of dips!Chilli with too much spice, it chokes! So please be careful. But the spice was addictive of course.Blue cheese mayo. Pungent. And that's just being polite.And cheesy artichoke. This was something unique and very well received.Guess which was the crowd pleaser?

My bestie birthday, got her a NYDC Chocolate cake.Cake was very rich, moist and dense the best part is it's not sweet at all so you don't feel as sinful. Manager was very friendly and helpful, he helped me to put on a happy birthday tag and candle when i told him it's for my friend's birthday. My bestie is working nearby and i ask the manager whether i can bring the plate out and return him later without any hesitation he say OK. what a great trusting guy.

Wasn't very hungry I shared my main. Had the meatball pasta with cheese in tomato based sauce. This is a very heaty dish (meaning don't eat too much or you might get a major sore throat...or gain extra weight ). The scramble egg from NYDC is my favourite as it is full of the nice fragrant from fresh milk and butter used in making it. The portion is also quite generous and goes well with the toast white bread that are also very soft in texture. The tomato is very fresh and juicy. The presentation looks great and the service here is prompt and friendly as well. The restaurant environment is comfortable and cooling too.
