The first time we tried Pepper Lunch was at the basement of Ngee Ann City. We liked the sizzling sound as well as cooking fragrance from the hotplate. It has a deep impression on the beef hotplate meal though.

Subsequently they opened up Pepper Lunch Express at foodcourts. The menu has less items as compare to their own shop. Anyway, we would only look for their beef tenderloin.

Prices are easier to the pocket at foodcourt. We tried the same beef tenderloin, umm....price and quantity are in parallel in some cases. The portion wasn't as big as their own shop but taste was the same. Beef was tender and juicy, taste right with salt and butter.

If you like beef, it will be a good choice for a simple lunch or dinner.

This was having promotion for only $6.90. A few slices of beef with 3 pieces of chicken. I'm not sure if it is really wagyu beef, since it just taste like normal beef slices. I shall not mention too much about the beansprouts and long beans and corns (how bad can they taste..). Maybe blame it on my bad cooking skills, the beef was quite tough. The chicken saved the day - tender and juicy, though only 3 pieces. The gravy, which I suppose was meant for the beef, was slightly spicy and too peppery
