Came here during lunch time on a weekend. The food was great! Specially recommend the Wafu Steak, it is a must try. So soft and tender with melt in your mouth sensation. Good service too, constant refilling of green tea. The staff also keeps your table clean promptly. Looks like there are several hidden gems in Greenwood Ave, a place worth exploring. It is a cool weekend afternoon chill up place, not many people too.

I brought my girlfriend to shin yuu to enjoy her favourite Japanese food. We started out with the appetizers. The shin yuu special chawanmushi was a total killer. the egg custard was so smooth and tasty. love the crunchy salmon roe on top. gives it a contrast in texture. Their chukka kurae and chukka idiko, which is seasoned jellyfish and octopus is so delicious as well. Came here for a gathering with friends! Love their salmon sashimi! The sashimi was fresh, and very worth it! Food ws generally good too The Shin Yuu Special Aburi Sushi was superb! One of the nicest sushi I've ever had, it literally melted in my mouth. Haha! However the place itself is rather isolated, but definitely worth the trip for the good food served

It's Shin Yuu again! Have taken a photo of their menu on their pricing. I find it pretty worthy for all these top quality food! Their pasta is wonderful. Cream sauce is just nice, not too thick and i can finish the whole plate without getting sick of it. Chawanmushi is fresh and hot topped with big fat juicy roes. Soft shell crabs are very crispy and fresh too. I savoured all!

Had their sashimi which consist of salmon, swordfish and salmon belly. It is really fresh, succulent and delicious!!!!! A must have when you visit them. All the sashimi are sliced perfectly and are really thick too. It was a buffet so all i had was sashimi and more of them. Had a few of their sushi as well but can't remember what they are called. The Baby Jellyfish comes in a small portion in a bowl and it takes great pleasure to suck them out from the bowl at one go. It is soft and raw.
