Shokudo Streets of Japan (已結業)

i hv been passing by shokudo quite a lot times thinking that it is a buffet restaurant , but thanks to openrice! After a search, i realised thaat shokudo is a ala carte restaurant instead of buffet style. Bought this layer fried egg with mayo and cuttlefish flakes on top. The concept of ordering is like marche style , staff service is very good as they patiently asked me for the order and also recommend what are the foods that i shld try. well this round we had desserts!machacino and another drink... which taste really nice~tofu cheese cakeit taste really good.. soft yet no weird taste of soy bean ..and lastly this oreo cheese cake~ came with 2 sticks.. which taste yummy! and with berry sauce!hope to try it again~

Shokudo is like marche once u go inthey give a card,whatever u order just pay using that card the price is quite cheap,but their food tasted normal Wouldn't be my first choice for Japanese cuisine. Wouldn't be my first choice for Japanese cuisine. But my friends do enjoy coming here, so I'd say it's a social thing. I'd usually order the Japanese Katsu Pork Curry Rice. At least it's trustable and good. Saucy curry gravy is thick and chunky with carrots and potatoes, and sometimes bitsy pieces of stewed meat. Fried pork cutlet is of lean meat too.
