In Whampoa here, it is always a long queue everyday at this stall. It has one of the best Hokkien mee in town, it got a very tasty flavour and thick sauce too. I do eat this almost everyday, and the ingredients are fresh and generous. Once you eat it, you will always remember it. What's more, the price is very low here for the quality you are getting.

A look at the queue will let one knows that this is the famous hokkien mee in town. I, too, join the queue and see if this really taste as good as it seems. Ordered the $4 to share with my other friend. If you are dining with a big group, you can order the noodles all the way up to $15 (can imagine how big the portion is going to be... they do have bigger plates for different price range!). Was quite amused by the price range of the hokkien mee offered $3/$4/$5/$6/$10/$10/$15 and decided to go for the $5 version since i was really hungry. This is one of the better Hokkien Mee out there in my opinion. Main pointer for me is always the chilli paste. This stalls chilli paste is sweer,spicy and thick. Not like some which mix the lime and chilli together which makes the chilli diluted. Prawns are of considerable freshness and overall a dish well cooked. Waiting time can be quite a pain during peak hours
