I always liked to have my meals at the bukit timah area since it gave me an excuse to urge my hubby to go to udders for ice cream. Although it is quite hard to get here with all the construction going on at the bukit timah area, it is very worth it when we finally arrived. We ordered two scoops of ice cream, one horlick and one baileys and bourbon. The horlicks ice cream is very rich and quite really good, it is not artificial but taste really like eating frozen thick horlicks. The baileys and bourbon is one of my favourite. The last that i visited Udders, it was 4 months ago. And to my surprise when i came here after dinner one day, they have quite a few new flavors in store. The first that i tried is the kit-kat ice cream, which was kind of disappointing considering that i love their honeycomb snickers. The kit-kat ice cream is basically just, dark chocolate ice cream and they throw in a few sticks of kit kat. Nothing fascinating about it. The second is the rice wine ice cream. It sounds really exotic and also, none of the other ice cream store that i frequent have this flavour, so i decided to give it a try. SIMPLY LOVE U.D.D.E.R.S ice-cream soooooo much ...it even recommend by Anna , who is a Fm100.3 DJ ! Well basically, udders sell what other normal ice-cream shops do not sell and that is alcoholic ice-cream !AAAHHh...i like the RUM RUM rasin most !!!!the BEST i think ! then now even have the tiramisu !!! I like waffle! especially when it is served with ice cream of my choice. From the way they display and decorate, i am sure that this dessert is very palatable. because it looks appealing. There are way too few supper places in the west, and all the stalls that are opened slightly later on a weekend will be packed to the brim, just like this udders ice cream shop. Despite a half an hour wait, we are unable to get a seat. We settle for takeaway instead, and got the rum rum raisin. This is an all time favorite classic that cannot go wrong. The raisin tasted slightly of alcohol, but that is about it. Its a dessert after all, so i wont be expecting strong liquor. I wonder why is there a age restriction thus, on those that can purchase the ice cream. Ice cream is one of my favorite comfort foods, and i ordered the D24 durian and chocolate marsh ice cream with the waffle from Udders!The D24 Durian is one of my favorites (after Mao shang wang) but since they didn't have the Mao Shan Wang flavor, i ordered the D24 Durian ice cream instead.I liked how the ice cream tasted like real durian! Ice creams or waffles at Udders always keep me company on days when i need some motivation. My flavourite flavors are Cookies and Cream, Awesomely Chocolate and Tiramisu.
