Western Food - Koufu (已結業)

Lunching in Koufu in Nanyang Poly is the best way to save money and have a full meal at the same time. The western food stall is my favourite stall when I was studying there. You can have a chicken cutlet with rice and 2 side dishes of your choice for just $3.80. It is definitely the best and cheapest western food you can find in a food court. Since the food court is open to public, you will see many working personnel from the surrounding offices coming in for lunch. So expect the lunchtime crun

This western stall at Koufu sells pretty extensive western cuisine that allows customers to choose their sides. Have ordered the Fish and Chips ($3.90) which I've gotten some fries to go with it. Was upset of paying that price for that amount of portion, the fish was crispy but kind of bland. None of the items were served warm or hot so it was kind of disappointing. Wedges and fries were fine but not exactly flavoured without any good sauce. Overall this may not be a recommended item to order. 

As it is almost 7pm, there is not much stalls still opening as most are closed for the day. As the western food stall is still open, so decide to order from here. As I do not feel like having pasta or deep fried dishes, I decide to order the Grilled Chicken Chop which costs $3.80. It comes with a choice of 2 side dishes. This fish and chip is nice.The crispy skin and the tender meat.Put some chilli sauce make it taste nicer.I not really like the wedges.They are not crispy and oily.It is soft and not warm as i think.IT make me think that it had been cooked since morning.But as long as got chili sauce,i still can accept it.I like the other side dish-coleslaw.It is really fresh and nice.The amount of the mayonnaise is just right.

This fish and chips is not bad.It is crispy and is quite fresh. But it is abit oily.The side of wedges and coleslaw is not bad also and the amount is quite a lot.The wedges looks crispy, but it is not. It is soft and a bit oily. So i dont like it.But the coleslaw taste not bad. It is quite fresh and i like to eat it together with the fish and chips.

Cheese Marcoroni? Looks so yummy and delicious in the picture as they advertise it. I guess it's either you LOVE it or totally hate it. I was the latter.I can hardly taste any ham (though there is) but it's absolutely not fresh and the cheese is so thick it's suffocating me. The worst thing is, it was near the end of the day and my friend actually wanted to order more sausages as a side dish but the store owner said no because they might not have enough to top up with other people who order marc

beef steak + spaghetti + fries ($4.10) first time trying Koufu's Western food. It was indeed nice, but a bit more expensive as compared to North canteen's and south Canteen's. The beef is a bit too hard as for medium well done. And it's only a very thin slice. Anyway, the gravy is nice, the spaghetti is very delicious, and the fries are flavourful. Very filling dinner.
