Lunched there on a weekday afternoon at 1pm with my brother. Got one weekday lunch set each with sides of fried toufu and a drink each. He got the char shu ramen and I got the Kumamoto ramen (had char shu and braised lean pork). Was pretty alright for the price that we paid but nothing spectacular.  Not bad for a lunch deal. They had the new ebi tonkatsu ramen menu for people who are fans of prawns.

Ajisen Ramen at Bugis Junction is tucked away at a corner at the far end. It's a rather small branch with the seats small and very close to each other. I love Ajisen's chewy ramen so no complains there.. but the soup base is rather salty today.

Also upgraded my ramen to a set and got a plate of Agedashi Tofu to go with it.

I usually love Agedashi Tofus, but I dont recommend to get their Agedashi Tofu here. The skin of the tofu completely just peel away when soaked and they dont give any radish. All Agedashi Tofu should come with radish in my opinion. The sauce is also too salty and when the tofu skin gets soaked in it, it's almost too salty to be edible.

The Ebi Fry was great, crispy without being oily. Tastes great when dipped into the soup

It was a satisfying meal, but would have been better if the soup base is not so salty.

No more drink with set

so, we added each Pepsi, most of drinks with soda that we don't like.
Fried soft shell crab is quite nice.

My friend ate Spicy Ramen, she said taste is a bit salty.
When we go to pay bill, also no body at cashier and had to ask them to collect again

Anyways... just to make it clear... Ramen is probably the only japanese food that i will actually consume... I tried the volcano ramen if i remember correctly coz of the spice... It was a little bit spicy... though its put as volcano... but i guess i was fine with that... Not much complains with the surroundings but being a big sized guy, i would maybe require a bigger stool... One thing to comment though is that the egg is really nice....

i happened to pass by bugis junction. I decided to have dinner at ajisen. I did not know what to have so I ordered their pork kimchi ramen. I like the kimchi they used. It is so crunchy and juicy. It is not too sour as well. The pork is sliced thinly, it is very tender and not fatty at all. The soup is so tasty, has the kimchi flavor in it, making it a little spicy. The noodles is very chewy and QQ, goes absolutely well with the noodles. It was indeed a really delicious bowl of noodles.

Went there for dinner with friend after hanging around. I ordered Scallop Ramen. The ingredients in the ramen includes an eggs, squids and scallops. First try, the ramen was a bit salty but the noodle was chewy and springy. The scallop was a bit small but it was fresh. All the seafood was fresh and sweet. I picked the fried squid side. The squid was average as it was not cruncy. Overall, the food was average as the dishes was not really hot.

It’s a bad experience to queue up in front of the restaurant. The queue seems not moving at all. When I got my seat, it’s just a small table for 2 persons. The tables are very near to each other, we have problem to put down our things, even on the floor. The pathway is so narrow, if you put something on the floor, it’s blocking the way. It’s not a pleasant experience there. The food there is normal. As usual, I’ve order the nonkotsu ramen set. As my friend ordered Crayfish Ramen. Luckily my nonk

The food there is normal. As usual, I’ve order the nonkotsu ramen set. As my friend ordered Crayfish Ramen. Luckily my nonkotsu ramen portion for the nonkotsu is smaller now. A bit disappointed.
