The store which I stopped by was Bakery Cuisine. Like most of the stores, cookies are usually on the display table. I have enough of pineapple tarts, cashew nut cookies, peanut cookies etc. I tried something different which was the mini cake. There were 2 types. One comes in the form of disposable container selling at $7 for about 20 cakes. The cakes can last for 7 days.
There is also other type which is put in plastic container. As it is a big container, the price will be different. It costs $10.50 for about 50 mini cakes. The cakes are flesh and soft. It is not dry. As such mini cakes does not contain butter, it is light weight and are suitable for children to eat. The problem is that it is perishable and cannot last for more than 1 week.

As I wanted to show my sincerity to buy their products, I picked for the next item. I saw a 90% emptied container and it contained shrimp roll. Giving the impression that it is selling well, I decided to try the shrimp roll. The shrimp roll is crispy and soft.

I enjoyed the mini cakes as it is light weight.

I was hoping to try out new breads at Lot 1 cuz i was kinda getting tired of seeing same old breads from Four Leaves, Bengawan Solo...(but they are still delicious okay??) Sooo..I walked into this newly opened bakery at B1 and discovered that most breads were displayed in glass cases and if you want one, the counter lady will help you take. Hygenic! However, i chose a bag of mini chocolate buns on a shelf..think it cost me about $4-5? for 6 of the buns.

Taste: Fluffy and soft bread, with a hint of chocolate with every bite, not overwhelming, goes perfect with coffee or tea! Not really a 'wow!' bread for me though..

Overall, I think the prices for the breads in Bakery Cuisine might put off some people cuz they are quite costly..however do try out their breads! Like the Toast Loaf that is really soft that comes in a few flavours, the Hokkaido cakes that come in boxes, the dorayaki and different range of breads in the display case~

I came across this new bakery in lot one. This bakery is unlike most bakery where you cannot pick your own bun. My father bought back this package of chocolate buns after his work and I was really glad to have get the chance to try this product as it is simply delicious. The bread texture is very soft on the inside and the outer surface is quite chewy and fragrant. The chocolate strips which you can find it surrounded the bread is lightly with the chocolate taste and is also not too sweet. The portion is quite generous and I heard from him the service staffs are also very friendly too.

In my opinion, this is the most value for money snack in the stall. for a mere $1.50, you can get this extra large Japanese biscuit. it is so big that it is the size of two normal bun plastic bag. The biscuit has a sugar coating on top. probably the baked it with the sugar so the top is a little crusted. The lower layer without the sugar is very crispy and crumbles. It flakes every time you take a bite. After I finish this Japanese biscuit, I was simply so full that I could barely eat the next m

Bakery cuisine opened for quite some time already but I did not have a chance to go in and try their bread. This time I got the cranberry and cheese bread, it was so good. when I took the first bite, there was an explosion of bliss in my mouth. the cheese was the melted kind. It mixed with the cranberry and tasted sweet. I think most of the sweetness was contributed by the cranberry. There were a lot of cranberries in the bun. The bread itself was very soft. It was totally to die for.
