On a typical school day, this stall would have a snaking long queue which had deterred me from trying their noodles. Start from $2.20 for a bowl of macaroni and soup to $3 for sliced fish or fried fish noodles. There is just one staff who manages the cashier and cooks at the induction cooker. 1. I wanted fried fish but at 1:30pm, they were sold out. So I settled for sliced fish instead. There were probably about 4 slices of fish. The soup wasn't too salty, but the taste of the milk was just right! There was some vegetables and ample amount of ee-mian. Sadly, I felt that it was lacking an egg! Something that their $2.50 handmade noodles comes with!

2. Handmade noodles (dry) $2.50

Their dry hand made noodles are quite popular. The aunty was very generous with the fried onions. In soup you can see that she placed a raw egg in there and the boiling hot soup cooks the egg as you carry your tray to the dining area.

The sauces were brillant. Not too salty, and yet enough to keep you addicted to slurping up your noodles. However I did suffer a slight food coma after consuming all these carbs! The minced meat was well seasoned and the staff was generous with the servings of minced meat.

Again, I ate Ban Mian. Well, I have to admit that Ban Mian is one of my favourite food. Don't you think that Ban Mian is a most attractive dish among the food?It was especially good when you are feeling hungry on a rainy day. Futhermore, it was probably one of the cheapest ways to satisfy your tummy. I do agree that it was a generous bowl of Ban Mian, but what impressed me most was the amount of honest to goodness passion that goes into it.

There were fried shallots and anchovies as topping. One egg, chicken meat and some veggies were added to cook together with the noodles. I like the soup. the you mian taste alrite, served hot and noodles were just nice (not hard not soft). You mian is nice for me coz i prefer thin noodle. Quite ordinary stall here, vendors are friendly though. not a long queue during lunch time, service is quite fast, price is standard compare to outside stalls. I will order again when I have nothing else to eat

South Canteen Ban Mian had been sold at a very reasonable price. Pay $2.20 and you will get quite a big bowl of ban mian. But sometiems the portion served can be quite small. Hope they can maintain their standard.Their Ban Mian are quite chewy and springy,With a raw egg and some minced meat inside. Anyway, i will request them to cook the egg for me. However, i often got very thirsty after eating their ban mian.

I loved Tom Yum Ban Mian Today I tried eating this stall ban mian and I feel that their quantity was not alot which was suitable for people who dont eat alot. Their Tom Yum Flavour was not strong which I do not like it very much. This noodles costs me about $2.50 which was way cheaper than outside (: Overall, the noodles was alittle overcooked as it was too soft but its still acceptable (: The staff was great and perform good hygiene practices by wearing gloves when handling with food.

This is the picture of my ' Tom Yum' Ban Mian [: I find it quite disappointed as their standard of taste had dropped. The soup was super salty and the noodles texture are not up to the standard. To set aside the taste, I would like to talk about the ingredients in my bowl of noodles. In my bowl, I can hardly see much ingredients in it. To estimate, this bowl of ban mian soup consists of a handful of vegetables, few small scoop of minced chicken and probably a bowl of bian mian. Although there were not much ingredients but the price was affordable. It costs me $2.50 which I think it's consider cheap already (: I wish to see more improvement on the taste of their soup and of course the texture of the noodles
