I was attracted by the crowd initially and sampled a few flavours before decided on the one. I had moscato. It was sweet and tasty with a faint taste of white grapes. I topped it off with mini marshmallows. The only frustrating part was that the cup was so small and the ice cream were overflowing. Probably they are trying to portray that the serving is huge . Oh well..

No normal person (no offense meant) would be able to resist an Ice Cream Parlor, let alone one that has more than twenty flavors. Smart move, because well, you’d learn to bring more friends along to try out more flavors. I’m one who doesn’t usually go for the ‘free tastings’ of the Ice Cream, because really, Ice Cream flavors can’t go too wrong and a small lump of it can be deceiving as well. Saw much crowding around this gelato store, so decided to poke my nose in. Interesting display case with all the fancy related props around the flavours.I ordered Deep chocolate and vanilla . The chocolate flavoured gelato was rich,velvety and luscious. Vanilla gelato was a bit of a disappointment as it tasted like essence and I didn’t see any vanilla seeds (from pods). Bought an voucher on qoo10 for this ice cream treat (5.40). I went on a friday night, and I think i went at the wrong time. There was a lot of people crowding around making it hard to grab the attention of the server, and I have to wait so long just to taste a few flavors. I decided to go with the cookie and cream, and the berries. A contrast of something creamy and fruity, so that it would not be so sickening after a few bites. Still quite a decent dessert, average tasting.

Come here to redeem my voucher which I have bought online for a 500cc tub of gelato. Too many flavours to choose from.Finally choose 2 flavours : the Special of the Day - Salted Caramel and also Whisky and Cookies.The first flavour is sweet with a hint of saltiness. Met up with my friends for reunion dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year, it was about 10.30pm and a lot of shops were already closed. Luckily, we found this shop selling Italy Gelato ice-cream still open and there's seats for us too. So we made this our dessert for the night. They have some rather interesting flavors like Moscato and baileys. The Moscato and baileys are very mild so even kids can have it. Unlimited toppings are allowed but if you put too much, the ice-cream will be too sweet. S

Saw a offer deal from qoo10..then i bought this.This can be take away.As i know,gelato italian icecream is the icecream with more sticky type.I bought this choco flavour, because i think it will be very creamy and nice like melt chocolate.It really dint make me disappointed.It is nice..very creamy,smooth and full with chocolate taste.There are also some cookies inside.choco lover must buy this.

After our dinner, we headed for dessert @ Gelateria Italia at level 1 Bugis+ shopping mall. We ordered one scoop each of gelato and sat down to chat for almost 2 hours. We went chatting until 11 plus pm. The gelato was smooth and delicious. I love my deep-chocolate flavour and mango flavor that my friend ordered. Another colleague ordered malted barley ice-cream which i don't really like. This is my own preference. I love sweet things and i love the combination colour of the chocolate and mango.

This gelateria italia was newly opened in last July, with a grand decoration and atmosphere, was really attracted me to purchase one gelato over there. At that moment I was so excited to grab one for myself. They have about 32 flavours of gelato and they are generous to let us try their flavors. However, the tastes are not like my expectations (especially the fruity and chocolate flavour). They are so normal with their tastes compare to another gelateria at Bugis Junction. There are a lot of eateries at the newly opened Bugis+ (previously known as Iluma), and Galateria Italia is one of the popular one. The shop is small with not many seats available. The cabinet and sofa in the shop are very vintage style and attractive. For the gelato ice-cream, you can choose from the counter, and you are allowed to test the flavours before making up your mind. Thank goodness for gelato, it makes the sweltering weather in Singapore a lot more bearable. Parked on the first level of Bugis+ which is located just across Bugis Village, you can easily grab your cup of heat-defying potion after shopping under the hot sun. Seriously, who can resist ice cream particularly during this hot weather season? The wide array of gelato flavours is certainly a feast for the eyes. Fortunately, you get to taste them too.
