1. Mexican Cheese Fries @ $3.50 was very cheesy but oily!!!!!2. Deep Fried Chicken Wings @ $1.30/pc was super hot with crunchy skins!!!!3. Western Fried Rice @ $3.50 was a bit hard to chew……..4. It is after 9pm and most of the stalls in the coffeeshop seem to have closed for the day, except for a few. The western food stall seems to be doing quite well and I decide to order from it. Looking at the huge menu, I decide on Pesto Chicken which costs $6.90. It comes with 2 sides which I select cheesy pasta and coleslaw. There are 3 guys cooking in the kitchen, while an aunty serving the customers. Service is quite fast. The grilled chicken tastes a bit tough to me and I could barely taste th

steak (super cut) for $14.90 which was quite a steal as the steak was really big. The steak was tender and the sauce that came with it complemented the steak and brought out the steak flavour well. 2 persons with a small appetite can probably share it! It came with 2 sides. The onion rings tasted really good and it was not at all oily.

I ordered char grilled chicken with 2 side dishes- baked potato and marsh potato. It costs a total of $5.80 (i realise that different Char grilled bar had different pricing, maybe this is one of their cheaper outlet). I really like the taste of the char grilled chicken; the grilled, boneless chicken thigh was fantastic. The sweet and slightly sour sauce really boost up my appetite. But i don't really enjoy eating the side dish i ordered. The marsh potato was so small ans was cold, i preferred it

Char grill bar has food items relatively similar to astons. But in terms of quality, Astons is way better. This is one of the better food items from char grill bar. The cheese fries. It is good! The cheese is generously given and the fries are the fat kind which requires less salt. About $3 for a plate

Had dinner with my wife at yishun. Found this western food that I wanted to try for some time.So I decided to eat on a Monday night.Order their signature dish. - Char Grilled Chicken.Food order come with 2 side dish of your choice. Itz just like Aston.My side order I choose the fresh salad and sour cream potato.If you want the soup, you will need to add extra cost. just like Aston.Food came fast - within 10min.First, I try the salad - salad is fresh.. Dinner with my sis at char grill bar as we were craving for some western food. Instead of the usual fish and chips or chicken chop, i decided to try their spaghetti. The serving does not look too much but it was actually quite filling after eating it. The spaghetti was cooked till perfect, not too cooked or under cooked, it still retain the springy texture of the spaghetti. It taste even better with the cheese sprinkler on top of the spaghetti.

Not knowing what to have for dinner on Sunday, I decided to go for the safest choice - western food. I decided to try grilled fish Italian herb and chose broccoli and chicken shepherd's pie as my sides.The fish wasn't too bad, even though the skin was a bit burnt. The sauce went well with the fish too and the cheesy broccoli was very nice. The only disappointed part was the chicken shepherd's pie as I ate only mouthful of potato and no chicken meat was to be found.
