The brown rice was surprisingly nice and fragrant. Together with the chicken in black pepper sauce, the meal was actually better than I expected!

My order comes with free flow salad bar and I'm not a fan of salad so I would only attack certain food. I tried some of their Thai tanghoon and it was hard! Like it's not cooked and softened enough. That was disappointing... The coleslaw was also ok. They also have a variety of crispy yummies that you can sprinkle over your greens to make them not-so-healthy but oh-so-yummy.

Hubby had their hamburger which he said was ok, not bad.

Tho their food seemed to have improved, I'm not sure if we'll bee-line here when we are in Vivo.

This is my first time dining at Earle Swensen's and I had the lobster baked rice. It consists of a whole lobster and fresh mushrooms baked over savoury rice and covered in alfredo sauce. The menu did say "whole lobster" but I didn't expect them to just stick one big lobster in the baked rice. The lobster is well-cooked and very juicy. I found it to scoop up the rice though, with the whole lobster in the way so I had it placed on another plate. The baked rice goes well with the alfredo sauce (whi

The baked rice goes well with the alfredo sauce (which is my favourite sauce) and the mushrooms give the rice a refreshing taste. The mushrooms have a strong mushroom taste so it really helped with not getting sick of the large portion of rice.

It is pretty expensive but considering it is a whole lobster and it was relatively delicious, it is quite worth it. Do give it a try!

Had a gathering with friends at Earle Swensen's.

Order any item from The Grill, The Wharf and The Farm sections which include an all-you-can-eat salad buffet, comprising of items such as fruits, vegetables, crackers, raisins, sauces, bacon bits etc.

Cookies and Cream Milkshake - This drink would be too sweet for those who like less sweet items but it's a sure-win for me!

Fisherman's Catch - Breaded fish fillets, prawns, calamari, mussels and fries make up this dish to satisfy any seafood lovers. Squeeze the lemon to add zest to the seafood.

Fish & Chips - The traditional fish & chips with fries. You've got to dip the fish into the tartar sauce!

Grilled Cajun Chicken - Quite a small portion of tender chicken in brown gravy. I want larger servings of this!

Earle Swensen's is like an up-scale version of the normal Swensen's. The food items are pricier than Swensen's but they offer a wider range. The salad buffet bar and cosy environment are plus points as well.

I like the environment of this restaurant and good thing I can see the view of the river at vivocity good for river lover like me . they have this like salad buffet which comes along with particular meals which people who are dieting will like it . Service was good however food taste was so so out of the three main we ordered only one taste pretty good. Don't think I'm going back to dine again for the price and serving was quite little.

I like to eat at Earle Swensen's because of one feature and that is their salad bar. Compared to Sizzler, I find that the price charged at Earle Swensen is more affordable. Besides, they also have a wide variety of fresh veggies at the salad bar for those who love their veggies. For me, I love to balance my intake of meat with the veggies so that it will be a balanced meal. I will not feel so guilty on my consumption of red meat. The veggies are very crunchy and you can taste the sweetness. All

The only difference between swensen's and earle swensen's will be the salad bar. But then the salad bar reminds me of sizzler as the concept seems similar. It was quite good as the vegetables at the salad bar were fresh and it was a good compliment to the main courses that customers will order. The more vegetables you have the more healthier you will become. The interior decor was nice. The standard of food was quite on the same par as the other normal swensen's. We had mussels as one of our side dishes, it was quite good, not overcooked but taste wise was just ordinary. Still a good place for gatherings as the restaurant provides good view of the waterfront.

It was quite nice that we got to try the salad bar as well so the hungry us decided to check it out. I grabbed only a small portion as I'm not a salad fan and would like to save space for my main course, which I'd ordered my favourite medium rare steak with seafood combo.

It was rather disappointing as the beef was rather undercooked (an understatement of medium rare)
and it was difficult to cut into pieces. In the end, I wasted nearly half of the steak. The crayfish was instead overcooked and the meat was dry and limp. The service staff didn't even give me a spoon to eat my rice.

I suppose most people are in light of the 1-for-1 set lunch promotion at all Swensen's outlets at both urban and suburban malls. I'm delightful to say it also applies at Earle Swensen's too. 1-for-1 plus unlimited salad from the salad bar, money-worthy I'd say. Food menu is different from regular Swensen's, more atas, more varieties, better choices of steaks. Tried a T-bone steak and Seafood rice. Tasty for its price. Will definitely go back there again.
