Today went to buy their 2013 mooncake, I bought their signature snow skin mooncake. Last year I bought the big one,but this year i bought the mini one first instead. This year package box is in red, actually their mooncake box seem quite similar every year. But their snowskin mooncake was really nice, especially their custard one, and I find that their mooncake not very sweet, good for elderly.

You MUST order the mini egg tarts ($5.80 for 4). One is not enough for anyone i swear. The light and flaky puff pastry carefully held the wobbly golden custard which was like an egg cream. I swear by anything that has shrimps in them. Every prawn dish that we tasted were fabulous owing to the fresh and succulent seafood. Just look at those Har Gows ($6 per basket).

I love the thin and springy steamed rice rolls and the shrimp ($5.80) and scallop ($6) ones were stellar. Definitely value for money given the size of the prawns! 3 rolls with 3 prawns in each of them.

The pork dishes weren't that great as compared to the prawn ones. It's not that they weren't good, they were just not that great in comparison. I was really looking forward to the Baked BBQ Pork Bun ($6 for 3) but was sorely disappointed. Imperial Treasures Bakery sells better buns that you can take away for cheaper. The pork was weirdly savory with onions in them that weren't caramelized enough. The milky bo lo bao crust was alright but at some parts the bun to meat ratio was too much. I also found some parts of the bun a little hard and crusty in the stale way.

The highlight of the meal was supposed to be the steamed Custard Bun ($5 for 4). I was looking forward to ending lunch on a high and sweet note but... I didn't like the salted egg yolk custard because it was way too sweet!

I sure wouldn't mind going back considering the good price point and high quality of the dishes. The final bill came up to $24 per pax inclusive of GST and service charge. Not bad hur! Something to keep in mind when you're in town!

This Chinese teo chew restaurant has been long well known for their different ranges of welly designed and hand made dim sums. Have tried most of them but my favourite among all will be their yam puffs. Although it may looks really simple, but the taste of it is really wonderful and delicious. The minced pork fillings in the center it are very tasty and fragrant which included generous portions of minced pork, diced mushrooms, mixed vegetables, and

We ordered ha gao, siew mai, Fried octopus tentacles, fried seafood beancurd, fried carrot cake and char siew bao. All we ordered tasted good, but to me, it seems more pricey as compared to the other dim sum restaurants. Will be back if I am around that area and wanting to have dim sum.

Most of the items that she ordered were really nice. I even took the glutinous rice to try out even though I was really really very full after finishing my bowl of porridge, I like one of the dumplings which was in the picture but I forgotten what was the name for that dish. It was filled with some vegetables and peanuts instead of the usual prawn fillings. That was something which I have not tried before elsewhere. The skin of for the dumpling are translucent and thin so it was really appealing. Price is also reasonable. Definitely a good place to go for dim sum.

This is really a great place for dim sum lovers! Their food in general is good and more of like teochew style. The dim sum were all very freshly made. I especially love their har kau (the prawn is very fresh and crunchy), chee cheong fun (the texture is very smooth) and lau sa bao - custard buns, the filling will just flow when you bite into the bun. Apparently, this is a very popular restaurant, always so busy and packed with people. So it is a must to make reservation!

Defintely will be back for their dim sum again!
