The queue is never ending no matter what time of the day it is... But i will still queue up for it since the queue move fast and the food is cheap and good. The stall owner is very generous with the ingredients. And they also offer the slim kuay teow which most of the stalls dont sell that. It is a must eat for me whenever i am near Amoy food centre.

During lunch peak hours, this stall selling fish ball noodles will definitely have a long queue of hungry office people. I joined in the queue one day out of curiosity and got myself a bowl of the minced meat version mee pok tar (dried mee pok). Inside my bowl, I can see the ingredients portion is a lot. Minced meat, fish balls, fish dumplings, pig liver, mushroom and fishcakes. One spoon of the mee pok and I straightaway love it. The mee pok is springy and every mee pok is separated nicely, not

For $3, I think this is very worth every cent!

Amoy Street Food Centre is one of the food centre (or how we locals say, hawker centre) in Singapore where you get to try all sort of local food in just one stop. Amoy Food Centre offer more than 100 stalls of delicacies, be it on the ground floor or the second floor, it will be difficult for you to find a place to enjoy a meal during peak hour, so you gotta be early in order to "chop" the seats. Was there due to work purpose and was so spoil for choices, so I just follow the queue and crowd for

Was there due to work purpose and was so spoil for choices, so I just follow the queue and crowd for this fish ball noodle - Ah Ter's Fishball Noodle. Ordered the small bowl of mee pok dry at $3.50, comes with 2 handmade fish balls, minced meat, fish dumpling and some fishcake. The meepok is one of the best I had - very very Q and not soggy nor lumpy like how many noodles tends to be after it is being cooked. Their fishball is good, too, and 1 bite of it and u will know it is really handmade and not frozen kind. The soup is very tasty too, without feeling thirsty after I drank the whole bowl.

Now I know why it always attract such a long queue as compared to the other stalls selling the same thing. Definitely recommending it!

I feel the dry version tasted better than the soup version. The chilli sauce not too spicy for my taste, it's just ok. The stay taste of vinegar lingers in the bowl and the crunchy crispy pork lard, which makes this bowl of noodle taste good. The soup that comes together also has a mixed assortment of ingredients, pork liver (if you don't like it bloody request the boss to cook it longer), fishball, meatball, minced pork, sliced pork, sliced fish cake, a piece of prawn and pork lard. The medium size portion was able to fill me up for dinner.

I was craving for fishball noodle soup after all the feasting over the long weekend holidays.Price: Big - $5.50, Medium - $4.50 and Small - $3.50.Ordered small one. The portion to me is really small, the ingredients only 2 fishballs, small handful of mince meat and sliced pork compared to some reviewer who had reviewed the big bowl. The noodle feels springy, texture of the fishball feels firms and QQ as its handmade. I had the soup version, the soup tastes to me was just right not too salty but

Was in town today for errant and meeting. Had not had anything since lunch, was pretty famished. Happened to be here and this is one of the stalls that's open.Ordered the "mee kia" dry version with chilli. On the board the Small - $3.50, Medium - $4.50 and Large - $5.50. I ordered the medium size thinking that the portion will be like the other stalls which was very very small. It was a mistake cos the portion was big and I couldn't finish the whole bowl of noodle. Well I kind of like the sauce

Well I kind of like the sauce used with the noodle neither too salty or plain. The chilli not too spicy. Then over to the ingredient bowl. Comes with 2 big fishball was told this was handmade by the boss himself, yes it came with 2 pieces of pork liver, some sliced pork, minced pork and a piece of prawn(which was hidden).

Finally managed to try the fish ball noodles from this stall that has won awards from magazine etc. Was here on a saturday afternoon so there wasn't any queue. I ordered the small bowl of bak chor mee which costs $3.80 but the ingredients was very little. I like their handmade fishballs as the texture of it was good and also very chewy. There was also an option of whether you would like the medium or the large bowl. I would definitely go back to try this next time but i will opt for the medium

The noodles was rather 'Q' in texture which i like! And they are rather generous with their ingredients. They have added fishballs, fishcakes, minced pork, mushroom and a prawn! A rather special combination for a fishball noodles! But i feel that their soup base is a bit saltish. It will be better if its slighty less salty.
