I was drawn to the colourful display of tarts at Jollybell located at the basement of bugis junction. Decided to try a longan wolfberry jelly tart as it look refreshing and healthy. The jelly in the tart was very unexpectedly dense, the tart though buttery was too thick, and the egg custard inside was too little. The sweet longan on top was of those canned kind and was the best thing i enjoyed in this whole tart.Definitely disappointed with its taste despite its pretty look and expensive price (

Definitely disappointed with its taste despite its pretty look and expensive price (the tarts cost between $1.70 to $2.50 depending on the flavour you choose).

Had a go for choice of a nutty one and I decided to go for the chocolate almond tart. There’s really nothing much to this tart. The chocolate is only coated at the top of the tart. The almonds were not very fresh, but they just tasted okay nia. The custard within is soft and a little moist; good texture. However, the taste still lacks some depth.

Noticed this small store by the corner of bugis junction selling tarts. The one tart that caught my eye was the lovely bear popping out to say hello! The Bear Chocolate Custard is one nice tart not to be missed. The crust of the tart I must say, is soft and easily collapsible but yet melts in your mouth. The chocolate custard is sweet and adds a nice layer to the main target, the chocolate bear! Decent chocolate but totally adorable piece of tart. Beary good
