Was attracted to the promise of Cantonese cuisine from the stall front and hence ordered a beef hor fun to try. For $4, the serving was really generous. I found the sauce to be a bit too dark in color. It was quite tasty, but I feel it's too one-dimensional with only a salty taste. I have high expectations for Cantonese cuisine - a really good one should have a multitude of different tastes within a good dish. The beef slices were nice and tender though. Beef lover like me should try the beef hor fun here. The beef meat here is very tender, juicy and not much fats can be found on it. The beef is sliced really thinly which really shows the excellent cuting skills of the chef. The broader version of the kway teow here is very smooth in texture and easy to eat. The thick gravy that is used to cook this dish is full of the nice fragrant and sweetness from the beef meat and the generous amount of chinese sauces used in it. The portion is really

Ordered the beef hor fun from this stall and i love it! Once you eat the hor fun, you can already taste the wok hei smell from it, It is very fragrant and filling for you as well. The beef was also rather soft and nice, not tough at all. This stall also sells tze char and i have personally eaten their tze char twice and love it as it is cheap and gives big portion too. I would recommend this stall to anyone who wants to have cheap and good tze char.

I went with my frens to tiong bahru market which houses a lot of delicious food stall. I ordered fried hokkien noodles from this stall as many people seen to be ordering from them. Indeed, it was a good choice for me. The gravy was very delicious! It blends well with the yellow noodle too. There was also fair portion of meat and seafood given. I would definitely revisit the stall whenever I am around this area
