The korean food here is rather nice. I had the chicken set for $4.50 which came with a bowl of rice, cabbage soup and 2 side dishes that could be chosen. The kimchi was rather nice and the chicken was plentiful and well-marinated and flavoured. It also went well with the white rice.

This is one of the best korea stall you can find in NTU. The queue is forever the longest at cafe by the quad and if you didn't have a long lunch break, it is not recommended to queue for this stall. Their food is really nice, i am not a fan so korea food but i just suit my taste bud. The soup is also very spicy. I will recommend this dish to those who can really take spicy food. it costs me around $5, which it think is reasonable.

Just had lunch here at 1130 and there was a queue already. It was a 5-10 minute wait before my turn. I ordered the kimchi soup ($4) and 4 pieces of spicy ricecake for $1. The rice cakes had a good chewy texture and sauce was not too thick not watery. It was slightly spicy and tolerable. For the kimchi soup, there were plenty of kimchi cabbage in it and only one tofu inside. The soup's taste was average only and was moderately spicy. The Korean food here is prepared by Korean and is authentic yet reasonably priced. Long queues are expected during Peak hours. However, it is totally worth waiting. I ordered a chicken bibimbap set ($4.5), it came with rice, soup and a small serving of kimchi and anchovies each. The chicken was well marinated and had a mild spicy taste without being too hot. Went to try out the new korean cuisine at The Quad besides School of Biological Sciences... I tried their hotplate chicken set. It comes with a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup, 2 side dish - kimchi and fried ikan bilis, The hotplate chicken is well-marinated, and its marinated sauce really sips deeply into the chicken meat, making it very tasty. However, the ikan bilis have a very strong stench (those kind of fishy smell) which refrains me from eating it. The soup is quite bland though.
