Korean Cuisine - Koufu (Closed)

The Korean Cuisine stall serves reasonably priced Korean food but the bibimbap have to be one of the best deals on the menu.A bowl of bibimbap ($2.50) comes topped with the usual ingredients one usually see in Korean mixed rice, and chicken with a fried egg on top.The bibimbap is as good as some sold in other hawker centres but at a fraction of the price.It cheap, filling and yummy.

This stall at Koufu sells some pretty decent Korean cuisine. The service is also pretty efficient which results in the relatively short queue. Have ordered the Korean Mixed Rice ($2.50) which is super cheap and affordable. The dish comes with chicken, cucumber and carrots topped with a beautiful fried egg, some kimchi and Korean sauce. Definitely worth it. 

Today I order Hotplate Pork from this store. Service is very fast.Hotplate Pork ($3.50) + fried egg ($0.50)But it seems that the aunty has forgotten to serve the seaweed soup and kimchi too. The thinly sliced pork is very tender, but sizes varies as some very big some very small. Not spicy just a hint. The shredded vegetable underneath the pork soften under the heat and soaks up the sauce from the pork.

Since I have not tried the dishes from the Korean stall, I decided to try their BBQ Pork.The meal costs me $5, served with a bowl of rice and soup.The pork was served in a large portion, it tasted pretty sweet.The rice was of good quality.As for the soup, the soup was quite bland and tasted pretty normal.Kimchi was served too, to be eaten with the dish.The aunty was friendly and kind, service was pretty fast too.

Our first choice for lunch today is too crowded, so ended up here. Read about so much about this stall, so decides to try it.Pork Rib Rice ($3.50)Never has pork rib Korean style before. The pork ribs are tender with soft bones. Somehow the taste reminds me of the canned pork cubes that can be found in supermarket. The soup that comes with the dish is too salty, maybe seaweed has not been washed.

I always like Koufu's Korean food.The choices is not much.But i still like it as they are nice.This hotplate chicken rice set is about $4.The chicken is tender and nice.To eat with some kimchii,it taste better.I'm not really like the soup that they given because it taste more like ajinomoto.By the way,i still like Korean food because im a big Korean fans..!!!

I always ordered this korean mix rice from tis stall,because it s cheap plus healthy.There are chicken, egg,vege and rice.They taste nice with the korean sauce and with the kimchii provided.The sesame pour on top also make it taste nicer.Sometime, the chicken will be very oily, so i always call the auntie to not give me too much of chicken.Then she will give me more vege and kimchii.Nice auntie.

Decided to go dinner at Koufu, as it is the nearest canteen located from our lab.I had ordered the spicy pork ribs rice from korean cuisine. I dislike the taste of the pork ribs as it tasted very "pork". If you like the taste of pork then you will be very into this dish.But overall is ok as the sauce given is nice and the kimchi served was tasty and crunchy.

Had ordered mixed rice from my all-time-favourite stall at Koufu - KOREAN CUISINE for lunch.The aunty is very friendly as I always ordered my mixed rice without putting the cucumber and carrot, aunty always give me more kimchi. I like the mixed rice sauce very much. It tasted a little bit sweet and spicy, make me feel very "got appetite".Will continuing visit this stall again and again.

I like this the most for korean stall. The korean chilli sauce taste very nice, it is not too spicy with a little bit sweet taste. The egg is well cooked, inside is some cucumber, carrot, chicken meat and of course the Kimchi!! The kimchi is very nice with not too strong onion smell because I do not like strong onion taste personally. I also like the seaweed soup which is not too salty this time..

Lunching at Korean Cuisine today was awesome! I had a great time enjoying my spicy pork at Koufu! )I Think that the way aunty spice up the pork was marvellous. I like the taste of the pork with that big sticky grain of rice so much! Sometimes, I realise that I have so much concentration while eating that in every spoon I like to think of what spices is inside the dish itself. the korean sttall in nanyang polytechnic koufu is always my favourite stall because I love Korean food and their Korean food is cheap and quite nice although it is not so authentic. The Korean noodle looks quite nice in the signboard, is I decided to order it but I regretted because it is quite disappointing. The noodle is the instant noodle, and the soup is also cooked from the instant noodle powder, very much of the artificial seasoning. The only difference is that they added some ingredient

Korean cuisine is always my favourite!! especially the mixed rice!!!The aunty seem to be very friendly all the time and she often ask us don't hesitate to talk more kimchi from her. One bowl of mixed rice costs $2.50. It is very cheap as there are very many ingredients inside and you can ask for the aunty to not put some ingredients inside as for me i don't eat carrot and cucumber, so i always ask aunty to not put in these two ingredient for me.

Bap means rice. So bibimbap simply means mixed rice. As i've said that i really love bibimbap. I will try it whenever i have no idea what to eat at school. So the aunty already knew me and always give me extra KIMCHI!! The bibimbap here only comes in plastic bowl. No stonebowl but its just as delicious. Served with a raw egg on top but somehow it mixes so well with the rice. I wonder if its cooked or raw already because of the sauce, everything is red after mixing. Do try it! The price is rather
