Ah, I remember this day that it was my first time to be invited or even hear about what Marche is all about. All my friend said, which was his birthday and he was the one inviting that 'THIS IS NOT A BUFFET, IT'S STILL ALA-CARTE OK SO BE VERY NICE TO THE CARD THEY'RE GOING TO GIVE YOU' Then I understood how this goes. So it's still ala-carte, like dimsum, where you order things from each stall then they'll tap/charge the card in, and we pay when we go out. Then Shokudo followed the same style af

Then I understood how this goes. So it's still ala-carte, like dimsum, where you order things from each stall then they'll tap/charge the card in, and we pay when we go out. Then Shokudo followed the same style after.

I quite forgot what I tried, from the rosti, to the pasta which we all taste-tested from a friends' plate, but the one that lingers to most of our minds should be the mascarpone crepe with ice cream. for $7.90++

THIS DESSERT EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY, SERIOUSLY. We were all spazzed by its wonderful delectable sweet taste! I was surprise as a chocolate fan myself, we were all mesmerized by the taste. this dish was recommended by the birthday boy himself where he highly thinks of this treat. This can be ordered at the crepe counter, and its topped with vanilla ice cream. It's really good - a heaven of the hot soft crepe that melts into your mouth with the cream and with the tingling cold ice cream. A heaven!

I have always thought that the concept at Marche is very interesting - having many stalls in a restaurant for customers to walk around and take their pick. And all one needs is a card to record the purchases at the different little stalls which can be settled at the cashier at the end.I have to admit that the price puts me off sometimes. I would prefer to eat something which is worth it and filling, not something small yet expensive. I ordered quite a few chicken dishes and also a pizza to share

I have to admit that the price puts me off sometimes. I would prefer to eat something which is worth it and filling, not something small yet expensive. I ordered quite a few chicken dishes and also a pizza to share with my bf. They were rather filling and in no time, we were rubbing our bursting stomach.

It's a pity that we didnt get to buy those that seemed very interesting (because we were full already and plus, they were expensive). Guess I would wait for my next paycheck before I pop by Marche again.

Whenever I think of Marche, i'll think of Rosti! I would normally order rosti with a sunny side-up and a chicken sausage. Even though the queue for this store is always longer than the others, i wouldnt mind waiting a lil more for a good plate of dinner. For dessert, i love marche's sweet crepes, topped with a scoop of ice cream, some caramel sauce and strawberries. A small glass of orange juice is also my usual order from the fruit store. While waiting for my juice to be ready, i cant help but to admire the display of fresh fruits at the store.

Marche is always a great place for gatherings and couple dining due to its cosy ambience!

The restaurant itself usually has a long queue because it is a favourite spot for class gatherings and big family meals, due to their long tables. The food is generally good if not a little bit pricey. But then it is not a place that you would visit very often anyway. Most people go there for their signature dish - the rosti! It is pretty much the only thing I order there, although I try out the steaks occasionally.
