time for some healthy food.. or i would say no meat eating =)this is not the first time i had vegetarian curry.. but this is the first time i tried vege fish curry..the curry is not as spicy... not that thick.. perhaps due to the amount of coconut milk they put in..good to have it with vegetarian bee hoon.. or just main rice

Truly one of the best vegetarian curry I have ever tasted. It’s so nice that I could only take the picture once everyone had their fill! Ha! The curry sauce has a lot of coconut in it but it’s not spicy. Despite that, the gravy is thick and smooth to even drink. This dish is the curry fish, of course, the mock fish is fried and then mixed in with the gravy.

are you vege lover??if yes or you are a vegetarian.. you definitely have to try this rests.~one of the dish we had was this broccoli with black fungus.. and carrots + button mushroom.. well its gravy sauce goes well with the fungus.. and broccoli.. perhaps you could either eat it with rice.. or plainly eating them =)there are other dishes as well.. perhaps could try them and share with you guys~

My vegetarian friend's birthday was coming and I thought we should take her out for vegetarian food that's not indian as she eats that all the time already. Read some reviews and Miao Yi came up with really good praises. So our party of 7 went down and tried all these: 1) Mock Pig $35 - their suckling pig comes with the lettuce and dark sweet sauce, just like the meat version. So I thought it'll be lousy. 1) Mock Pig $35 - their suckling pig comes with the lettuce and dark sweet sauce, just like the meat version. So I thought it'll be lousy. But it's actually freaking awesome. Can't explain it but it's just awesome tasting.

2) Cold Dish $20 - Likewise, there are about 5 sides to choose from. Each one different in texture and taste. Each very well made.

3) Steam Cod Fish $12 - This dish actually came highly recommended by other reviewers but I personally didn't think much of it. It's essentially tofu with seaweed but it's was only ok in taste.

4) Venison Broccoli $12 - this one deserves special mentioned as I loved the way the 'venison' is done. Together with the broccoli, it's super awesome. I couldn't match all the dishes to the special names but these are good:

5) 8-Treasure Tofu $10

6) Hot Plate Tofu $10

7) Season Veges $13

8) R. Mushroom Stalks $16

9) Match Perfection $18

10) Longevity Noodles $12

After a super full meal, we were ready to roll out of the restaurant. So we asked for the bill and realised they don't charge for service! That was such icing on the cake as they give very prompt and sincere service, which is tons better than some establishments who charge and give crappy service. I am SO dragging all my vegetarian friend's here!

The plate is a mix of cold dishes and some fried entries for starters. Fried mushroom, mock duck, beancurd skin, and vegetables were served. Nothing great but not lousy. The same goes to their mock shark fin soup.Be prepared to be walking in to a full house or maybe 90% if you are heading there during peak hours. Try to get seated by 5.30 to avoid any time wasting.
