Well honestly, the first impression of my first spoon of the ramen was the bounciness of the noodles. Ordered the Komi Tsuke-Men ($13.50), which was actually cold dipping noodles in citrus soy-sauce soup. I like cold noodles but I was quite surprised that the soup is actually hot. I usually dip cold noodles into cold soup, a hot soup kinda defeats the purpose of having cold noodles. Anyway, I still enjoyed the noodles while the soup was alright. I would rather have the hot soupy ramen instead, like the one my friend had. It was a fish-based soy sauce ramen ($13.50), the soup was flavourful and yet not too salty. But the credit, again, goes to the noodles.

We had Gyoza for sides to share. It was good too, not too oily with enough filling while the skin was not too thick. Overall, I would compliment the place for their noodles and the affordable pricing. There are many varieties in the menu to choose from too. I can see that there were quite a number of Japanese slurrping up ramen here, so I reckon that the ramen here is really up to par. I can't wait to return to this place for my hot ramen fix ^^

Pan Fried Dumpling with Perilla Leaf ($6.50)
Quite an interesting dumpling with the leaf wrapping around the minced meat. Somemore the leaf tastes like basil to me, which could a bit strong for some.

From Clarke Quay MRT, will take you at least a 15min walk in order to reach the Gallery Hotel. but good thing is that along the way you can pass by The Central, Clarke Quay and Liang Court... you can also take pictures when you passby all the bridges. Advice to go to this ramen place in the evening or else you will sure sweat when walking under the sun.

they have two separate dining area to the restaurant, one is more like a restaurant another is more like a fast food store concept.

Miso Tonkotsu (ramen is nice, juice sweet corns, but the miso soup is rather salty for me tastebud, not sure if is their way to prepare the braised eggs the egg yolk is almost cooked not like other ramen store's half cooked or watery kind)

Gokubuto Miso (I like the thick soup base! but dun like the thick ramen, it feels like you are eating the flat yellow thick noodles from those chinese noodles store., i think i will prefer to eat with normal size ramen)

Shi-so Gyoza (very crispy outside)

after all, it is a nice place to visit, and you can have a nice stroll back to the MRT station along the riverside with your partner =)

After traveling around Asian countries and trying different JP ramen from countries like JP, HK, TW, SG, China and Korea. I do not find this ramen restaurant any special, compared to different ramen places in SG. The food quality is not bad, and the soup (the soul of ramen) is cooked with good ingredients. Please get your GPS and precise address when you decide to go there because it's not easy to locate the shop.

My friends recommended and must eat Ramen at Miharu. It is small shop located at Gallery Hotel, My hubby and i went to check it out on the food. When i entered the shop, i give me a very traditional and rustic feel where people would want to hang out after a long tiring day of work. Try to imagine the shop that watched in Japanese drama or movies. Miharu has a very homely and calming ambience which makes you feel comforted. Overall, i find the food is good just abit salty.

Well, it didn't disappoint as i keep coming back often.

There are several broth to choose from. MISO tonkatsu broth, fish broth, Shoyu broth and several ohers that i couldn't recall. My personal favourite will be the Cold Noodles. It is Ramen served chilled and comes with hot Shoyu soup. For those who are not a fan of cold dishes, you can always order the regular ramen.

A well proportioned serving of Cha Hsu, Half cooked eggs and leeks are mandatory in a true Japanese style Ramen, which Miharu follows to a T.

If you find that the soup is too salty, you can ask the waiter to top up your soup with a clear broth.

Oh yeah, stay away from the Gyoza. Its pretty decent, but you can get better Guo Tie at Chinese restaurants.

For beer lovers - they serve good O sapporo beers.

I also bought some char siew pork slices to share with my friend but sadly I felt that they were just mediocre.

The price is decent enough but overall I think the flavours arent strong enough.
