If you have been to city square mall, you would know that this shopping mall has low human traffic despite it being a newly opened shopping mall. The sashimi and seafood section is highly "contested" as diners always choose the snow crabs despite the other wide variety of other seafood available. The sashim whilst offered in a wide variety, the quality of the seafood's freshness could be better controlled.

The Japanese paper hotpot that we ever so often see on television is also offered as part of their wide selection. The soup is a tad too salty for my liking and has way too much vegetables in it.

Their Chawanmushi looks delightful but upon tasting it, I am disappointed to find the prawns in this dish to be fibrous and a sign of not being freshly prepared. Quite disappointing frankly speaking as the ingredients offered in this dish is plentiful but taste bad.

Overall, at approximately $36 per pax, this restaurant will make diners feel that they have their money's worth. If you are looking for quality, this may not be the place to satisfy your tastebuds. However, if you want variety and eat to your hearts' content, this is definitely the place for you dine in.

i went to momiji with a couple of friends for a buffet outing. The spread at momiji is quite sumptuous from sashimi to chawamushi to seafood. The seafood is simply fresh, from the prawns to the mussels, everything taste sweet and juicy. the chawamushi is very smooth and taste. I like the way it slides down my throat. The fruits selection was quite a lot, it ranged from watermelon to grapes to longan to dragonfruit to jackfruit. There were ice cream and mini cakes and fondue too! Totally worth my

YUMMY!! I think its best to reserve a seat because around 7pm there will lots of people streaming in

The service was pretty good as they are always greeted us with a smiling face. Other than that, they cleared the plates pretty fast as well
GOOD JOB! Out of all the food, I love the sushi (: There are plenty of choices to choose from. i'm sure pictures will paint a thousand words. Do Enjoy! Their soup tasted slightly sweet but I felt that the taste was just right for me (: I dont really try the sashimi all, but heard from my parents, the salmon are very fresh and yummy (: It costed $31 per head during weekends
I would definietly introduce my friends to eat at this buffet resturant.

Went there with my classmates and to our horror, it wasn't there anymore and heard from another friend they moved to City Square at Farrer Park MRT. I really love their salmon there, it's so awesome and fresh that I can finish two plates of it on my own. ( The red one is not so tasty to me, heard it has got a higher level of iron in it though haha ) And the best thing is it's free flow with just $15.35 ( student price + passion card discount ). Only available on weekdays 1200-1500 though! Oh and

Chanced upon Momiji japanese restaurant while researching on more buffet near dhoby ghaut & we didnt regret going there.

The restaurant was really prominent due to it's design.
The buffet was really affordable as they are have $30 nett price.

They serve sashimi,love their mussels!
They had crabs too!The crab legs were super long.
They even had chinese cuisine as well.
They had chocolate fondue as well. However, the selection of dessert wasn't very great.

The sashimi were pretty fresh. They had salmon belly as well as the usual sashimi.
Variety was pretty ok.
I'll definitely go back again if the price is still at $30nett.
They had promotion for Passion card members but the promotion is not valid for the $30nett.

Similar concept as Kushinbo. At momiji, it is less crowded and cheaper. Only at $32 per adult. The service was perfect. The sushi and sashimi were very very fresh and delicious.

Hot pot was alright, the soup was a tad too sweet!

As for the mushroom hotplate, i find it sourish. Wonder why.

Their grilled sticks, pork with asparagus and tomato are really yummy! If they could drizzle the entire stick with those terriyaki sauce instead of black pepper bits, it would be even better.

They also have fried rice, pizza and fried food. I love the potato croquettes. Really nice and crispy. As for the pizza, there're too much onions. Don't really like it.

Desserts were great! A fridge full of fruits, cakes and ice cream. Mango ice cream was nice and their cakes and eclairs were all fantastic.

Only complaint is the main attraction. Hairy crabs!! They are very SANDY! I gave up eating them. They should wash and scrub more thoroughly before serving.
