If you are a egg lover fan, then this thick pieces of egg omelette will certainly be able to delight you. The restaurant here is very comfortable and the staffs are equally friendly. I have ordered the usual ramen, and also this time I also first time trying their tamago. Surprisingly it is very tasty and smooth and soft in texture. The taste is very fragrant and also not too oily Try it and you will know why it tastes so good!

This char siew ramen soup is one of my favourite dish from this restaurant. The noodle is chewy and thick which is the ideal kind of noodle for me. The char siew is really big in size but is very thinly sliced to ensure the meat is not too tough and at the same time maintain its juicyness. Few slices of seaweeds and chopped spring onions are topped on it to add in that extra nutritious value to the soup. The ramen here has their special x-factor that bring in more crowds than the other ramen stalls is that their super power soup base. I have tried their corn miso ramen and immediately fall in love with the corn soup base. It is really sweet and thick and filled with lots of small little parts of the sweet corns. The ramen is chewy and not easily breakable. Some shredded roasted pork meats are topped on it too added that extra sweetness to this dish. Beansprouts and some long chopped onions a

I've always known there was a popular ramen joint in Cuppage Plaza, but somehow never got around to finding out which one it was. All that changed last night. It always feels like the lottery to me when I break open ramen eggs with my fork to see if liquid egg yolk oozes out of the boiled egg white. I won the lottery with this one. Certain ramen joints have fully hard boiled eggs in ramen for some unknown reason.

The soup base was not flavourful enough for me and I ended up having to add a lot of spices. It wasn't too salty though, so that's a plus point. There were also about 4 thick slices of cha shu in the bowl which makes it more value for money.

Had delicious laksa at Noodle House Ken! The laksa is so spicy that I could not stop drinking water. It is good too! The condiments are very generously portioned. You can also smell the strong aroma of the coocnut milk present. Super appetizing! Great choice of place if you want to eat really good laksa in town.

i headed to noodle house ken for some delicious noodles. The noodles were simply delicious, very QQ, totally not soft and overcooked. The soup is splendid, so tasty. After the first mouth, you just cannot stop. The ingredients are quite a lot as well, all are cooked to perfection. Just a simple bowl of noodles and they can actually cook it so nicely!

Gyozo or known as the chinese pan fried dumplings are simply delicious! This gyozo is filled up with generous marinated pork meat which make every bite so satisfying! They are also specialist in making Ramen and one of my favourite is their Kimchi Ramen. THe gravy is thick an spicy and the kimchi sauce they used taste great! The portion is also quite generous. My verdict: 6.5/10

For a taste of authentic Japanese ramen, cooked by a Japanese chef - Ken himself! - you must try Noodle House Ken. Surely the presence of Japanese businessmen having dinner there after work is one of the proof that the place is authentic. Let's not forget the feeling of being teleported to Japan whenever I walk into the main restaurant. The annex unit where most of the seats are have shelves of japanese comics, in japanese!

If that's not enough, the noodles itself will do the talking. The thick pork soup is delicious and wholesome. The noodles are springy and the cut of japanese "Char siew" is generous. My favourite must be the "hot spring eggs" where it's hard boiled on the outside but the yolk is still runny as it should be in a good ramen!

The side dishes are nice too. The gyozas are a standard in ramen noodle houses but I especially love the hot pipping onigiri (rice dumpling wrapped in seaweed) made fresh upon order.

Ah, the days of hanging out in a cozy little japanese restaurant, laughing and joking with friends over a hot bowl of good noodles. this is the place to go. Try not to go with too big a crowd though. 4 is comfortable. 6 is huge. more than that is just too many. The place is tiny so sometimes you may not find seats!

One of the not-bad ramen shop in SG. Menu is limited to few types of ramen, but it's ok and enough for me. Noodle and broth/soup taste ok. Price is reasonable also. Best thing about this shop? It opens till 2am in the morning, so if ever I have craving for ramen in late night, it helps. It's a very small shop, kinda have typical japanese ramen shop setting. 1 row of counter seat and a few tables. The aunties/lady serving us is not exactly too friendly. Overall, I will still visit this restaurant
