The signature xiao long bao dish at Paradise Dynasty is really good. I was first attracted to the colourful xiao long baos when the dish was served on the table. They come in a total of eight colours, each one representing a unique flavour. There is a combination of ginseng, garlic, cheese and foie gras and more. The sampling basket of all 8 flavours costs $13.90 each.

I wanted to try the colourful Xiao Long Bao long ago after I seen the commerical ad on TV. And I finaly got to taste it when my ex boss invited me for dinner. I was not really used to the taste of the colourful Xiao Long Bao, it taste really awkard to me . I still prefer the original flavour. I must say this is a one time try for me in this case. I loved the La Mian with chicken cutlet. The soup was sweet and noodle was really spongy. I can say this is one of the nicest La Mian I ate in Singapore. Dessert was the chinese version of souffle. I highly recommend this dish as I find its texture really unqiue and it must be comsumed when its hot . The souffle does not taste nice after it turned cold.

Wanted to give a try on the food at Paradise Dynasty as i used to have my dinner at Paradise Inn. The food is more on Sze Chuan food, which is more spicy and oily, but delicious. I ordered sweet and sour fish, long beans and fried rice. The fried rice taste special that i hardly find outside. I noticed there was a signature dish which have colourful colours for Xiao Long Bao. Maybe i will try that the next time. Overall the food is good and delicious.

"Paradise Dynasty" is the latest addition to the Paradise Group of Restaurants in Singapore. The entrance to the restaurant is small but the interior is wide and comfy. They even offer alfresco dining with nice view of Tangs and Orchard Road. The LED lights on the exterior of ION Orchard also sparkles into the restaurant, creating quite a visual feast for diners.

The xiao loong paos come in eight sumptuous flavours - black truffle, foie gras, garlic, ginseng, cheese, Szechuan, crab roe and, of course, traditional. Patrons can choose their favourite flavour which comes in 6 or 10. Alternatively, they can also choose to have 1 of each flavour. After trying, I still prefer ginseng or traditional. Xiao loong pao skin is thin, the meat is well-marinated and the soup in the pao is flavourful.

1. Original (white) – S$6.80++ for 6; S$9.80++ for 10
2. Ginseng (green) – S$12.80++ for 6; S$19.80++ for 10
3. Foie gras (brown) – S$12.80++ for 6; S$19.80++ for 10
4. Black Truffle (black) – S$12.80++ for 6; S$19.80++ for 10
5. Cheese (yellow) – S$8.80++ for 6; S$13.80++ for 10
6. Crab Roe (orange) – S$12.80++ for 6; S$19.80++ for 10
7. Garlic (grey) – S$8.80++ for 6; S$13.80++ for 10
8. Szechuan (pink) – S$8.80++ for 6; S$13.80++ for 10

We had 'la mien' with braised pork belly. The pork belly literally melts in our mouths!!! Soup base is thick pork broth which is very flavourful. The noodles are handmade and done al dente. It is a perfect combination. We also had the dumpling noodles, but dumpling was a little bland for us.

The crispy garlic pork ribs is fragrant and crispy - a perfect snack after the hot and soupy dishes, may be too 'garlicky' for people who don't fancy garlic. Free-flow pu-erh tea was pretty decent at $1.20 per head. There is a tea-pouring expert, who pours the tea from a long spouted teapot. Service is alright, not as good as ding tai fung but better than qun zhong.

It was my second time there and I'll still patronise them for the good xiao loong pao and noodles. The ambience is 5 star, for good xiao loong pao!

The waiting time is quite long since too many customers in the restaurant. It’s not a good experience because I sat just opposite of the exit/ entrance of the kitchen. The waiters and working staffs walk in walk out holding different kind of foods and dirty plates. It’s very annoying. Moreover, I found a harden rice stick on the spoon that I am going to use. Yucks, they did not clean the utensils properly? This is not a street stall, a restaurant I suppose?

The only food that I am satisfied with is the Xiao long bao. I’ve tried the original and cheese flavor. Tasty soup and sweet moist meat inside.

If i am craving for Xiao Long Baos, i will now think of Crystal Jade and Paradise Dynasty instead of the former only. Although i didnt really taste any difference between 2 colours i've tried, I admit that the XLBs are steaming good. The thickness of the skin is just right such that when you picked it up using the chopsticks, it doesnt break. Eating the XLBs with some vinegar and ginger slices doubles the experience.

We were also amazed with the cold appetizer Egg dish. It creatively combines the 3 kinds of egg (salted, century, boiled) together and presents in a light hearted star shape to please our sight and taste buds.

Cantonese cuisine is all about delicious side dishes. We like the braised eggs and actually ordered 2 plates of it. The yolk practically melts in your mouth when you eat it. Shiok!

Our dinner was on a weekday night and the whole place was bustling with diners. You can get to catch some tea masters walking around with a long nose kettle. For a dinner spread of 6 pax, we ordered almost 8 side dishes and 2 bowls of noodles for sharing across the table. At the end of the meal, we were all very pleased with the quality of the food here.

So we walked around at {Prologue} & turned out we missed the number cos... we're not "10" but "01"!!! Who will write queue no. as 01 =.= Anyway the service was pretty good if we forget abt this ridiculous queue no. thing.

Once we entered we're welcome by the tea master & it's definitely an appetizing sight. I was super full from the buffet lunch @ Basilico so I my other 2 hungry frens do all the ordering. The highlight is of course the rainbow xiao long bao, it never disappoint me! The skin was very thin but not easily broken, right amount of soup at an "eat-now" temperature. Anyway I feel that the best tasting one is.... original haha (maybe it's just me, like i only like to drink original Yakult, not the colourful ones)

Drunken chicken was good too, I've tried some awful one at one restaurant before (can't remember which one though) cooked with bad wine quality. Noodles was so-so to me, I prefer softer & bouncier noodle, but the soup's quite good.

A place worth going back again, wanna try their other stuffs when my stomach has more space! Just that I find the environment too dark & too "gold" for my liking
