Coming to Paradise dynasty is indeed a mult-sensory experience. Great food and pretty delicate. The multi sensory experience starts off with the beautiful and colourful Xiao Long Bao. Not all of them are equally good but well, tasting the unqiue flavours such as cheese xiao long bao and foie gras xiao long bao is an unique experience in itself. The next dish of scramble egg white with egg yolk was also a pretty dish pretty to look at, pretty pleasing to the taste buds. Chicken feet with seafood.

The very tasty la mian soup, concocted from the signature pork bone soup broth. The soup is dense due to the high content of protein and collagen. I feel younger just eating it! Apparently the soup has been simmered for in slow fire for 12 hours. Slow boiling it reduced the initial soup content from 30kg to 8 kg to bring out the essence of the soup! How can you not say this is DElicious!

Lunch at Paradise Dynasty was fairly less crowded than dinner time and it's absolutely one of my favourite chinese restaurant to eat at when I'm in town, not to mention its affordable range of chinese cuisine! Ordered 10 dishes for 5 people, xiao long bao, zha jiang mian, guo tie, sweet and sour pork, 2 bowls of soup, kai lan with beef, vegetables, and another 2 plates of dian xin and one bowl of rice! The whole meal came up to about $110! Pu-er tea was free flow.

The baby kai lan with beef was really good. The kai lan was crunchy and easy to bite down.

Zha Jiang Mian was slightly spicy in my opinion and those who can only take mild spicy should probably avoid ordering this.

Paradise Dynasty does not take reservations, with the only exception that you come early and get a queue number but that still does not gurantee you a seat immediately if you come back half an hour later. It just gurantees you that they will give you more priority over others.

We've always wondered what the fuss was with the signature multi-coloured "xiao long bao" dumplings. Granted, it's kitschy and a novelty alright, but having recently tried it, I really didn't think the dumplings were worth that long a queue.

1) Signature Dynasty Dumplings ($13.80 for 8 pcs): pretty alright, with thin but hardy skin, with a little chewiness in the texture, and piping hot clear broth. Only 2 stood out, the pink szechuan flavour coz it was tongue-numbingly spicy, and the black truffle one for its aromatic tones. The rest didn't quite stand out because the "extra special additions" were very understated. Overall a novelty item but not something I'd end up craving for

2) Double-Boiled Chicken Soup ($8.80): delicate but had depth of flavour, but unfortunately with MSG overtones. That said, the chicken was fork-tender was substantial

Seems more worth it to order the various flavors especially if it's your first time trying it. I would say the Crab Roe, Foie Gras, and Black Truffle is more flavorful. There's also a specific order in which you're supposed to eat it so you can appreciate each flavor without having had the previous overpowering what you're eating now

Come here when you're trying to impress guests that aren't familiar with the Chinese cuisine as the waiter who goes around pouring your tea with long nozzle is a show in itself.

Dessert time! I've always wanted to try their dessert after looking at tables after tables having this steamy plate of mango sago. The presentation is superb and indeed attracted many like my attention to order! It is filled with dry ice at the bottom, that explains the steam. The mango puree on top is cold and delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. The portion is just nice for one person. Thumbs up!

Besides that, they serve other chinese food which are equally tasty though the servings are small. You may need to order more dishes to have a filling meal. Two more recommendations are the spicy beef soup noodles and the pan-fried crispy red bean pancake. Both dishes are really worth for money!

If you haven't been to Paradise Dynasty, you may want to try it today!

Order the truffles xiao long bao would suffice. The 8 flavors xiao long bao is just a gimmick, for customers to have a try at all the available flavors.

To me, the highlights of both times patronizing this restaurant were the Xiao long baos. This time, 2 of us ordered a bowl of la mian and the xiao chi that consisted of wraps and minced meat. All 3 were not bad, however I think the la mian is not particularly outstanding. For xiao long bao, beside the colors of the skins, The Xiao long baos are filled adequately with tasty soup and smooth fresh pork. The skin of the xiao long baos is also of perfect texture and thickness

This is spring roll from Paradise Dynasty. They fried it to the perfect colour. But slightly oily texture. The taste is just normal, no different from other spring roll that i can easily get from other places and don't have any speciality. For me, i will definitely not to order this dimsum at such an expensive restaurant.

Another day, another visit, another flavour. This time round, opted for the explorative route to try on all the different flavours. Very interesting flavours to mouth down on a xiao long bao. I still love the black truffle ones but my new found love is the brown Foie Gras. The disappointing ones were the szechuan pink in colour and the crab roe, orange.
