I was joining the Sakae Sushi membership recently without any convincing reason. $38.00 you may get the member card with one year validity, $28.00 value inside the card, 12% rebate with the amount spent for next time visit, free green tea everytime you dine in, a complimentary red plate sushi and $20.00 e-voucher for your birthday month. Sound attractive? By now, I just know how to differentiate colour plate and red plate. Of course the ingredient for red plate was more expensive. Compare these

By now, I just know how to differentiate colour plate and red plate. Of course the ingredient for red plate was more expensive. Compare these two plates, blue colour plate was Egg Mayo Sushi and red colour plate was Lobster’s flavour.

I like this very much, tenderness of cuttlefish and its taste a bit sweet. For me, it was worthy to join as member if you go Sakae often. Also, it provides buffet meal at certain outlets.

Salmon was delicious, fresh and juicy

SUPER love the Japanese rice as the quality was really good and sticky enough!
It also came with a free packet of Wasabi, two packets of soy sauce and a pair of disposable wooden chopsticks.
Ideal of picnics and snacks. Or for people who's on diet

Fabulous! Will come back again. Awesome service and lovely environment!!

Sakaesushi is founded by a Singaporean, and therefore we cannot truly say that its' menu is truly authentic or brings the japanese flavor. In fact, one can truly taste the singaporean flavor in their cuisine, but I must say they have largely improved in trying to copy after the japanese culture!with more than a million (for emphasis only) types of sushi, it's kind of agonizing that they dont place the labels on the sushi plates. we don't know what we're eating, but this is delicious!Octopus sush

Hotate (scallop) is my favourite! usually ordered off-counter, its' fried and hot and juicy and refreshing and sadly they only have 3 thus it's kind of expensive just to eat 3 fried hotates.

Charcoal Ramen is something new and delicious! I thought it's gonna taste horrible just by one look at it but really, don't judge a meal by its' look! soft, and juicy and tender ramen with chicken ingredients, this is yummy!

The tofu was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, i felt the sauce was too little though. with a small little trip of vegetables, this tofu is a good combination for any meal or set you order.

this is a healthy set filled with brocolli and carrots, which i felt they could increase their fanciful design by making shapes and all!

Was busy at work and had a late lunch alone at sakae sushi near my office. Its been quite a while i dine at sakae sushi cos i was rather disappointed with their food on a previous visit at their other outlet.I was attracted by their new variety of sushi. Had ordered a california roll and a unagi maki. They were both delicious and was happy that their sushi has improved! The california roll was wrapped with cucumber, lettuce, snow crabstick, avocado and smelt roe. The ingredients were rather fresh

The california roll was wrapped with cucumber, lettuce, snow crabstick, avocado and smelt roe. The ingredients were rather fresh which made it a very refreshing combination, its tasted simply yummy! And the unagi maki tasted oiishi which was wrapped with river eel, japanese cucumber and salmon skin. I love the salmon skin especially which was crispy and flvourful!

Sakae buffet a nice dinning choice for a big group of friends to seat down and chill together. the service there is good as the people there is fast and speedy. you can order cooked foods, jap noodles, chawamushi and other sushi that is not ready to take.Though the price is afforable and the service is good, however the standard of the food has drop as compared to the past.

Especially the Jellyfish Sushi, I cant stop myself from eating it. It was fresh and it tasted marvellous.

Other than that, we ordered Chiwamushi, side dishes (Toko Yaki, fried Tofu, Cha Soba, Okonomiyaki) and some hand roll sushi. The Chiwamushi should be well praised, it was steamed perfectly and it was soft and tender when I tasted it. As for the side dishes thumbs up for everything, I love Toko Yaki the most, there were sotong inside and myannoise was spread around it. Although, most of the side dishes were fried, it was not oily and everything was served ' Hot'
All the sushi was well presented as it was rolled nicely with right proportion of Japanese rice and ingredient.

After we have finished our food, we were all given a cup of mango ice cream to enjoy
It was really an affordable buffet and one's could really filled up their stomach for a long time. There were many foods to choose from and individually can eat as much as they could.

Nevertheless,i still visit Sakae Sushi's outlet at other locations and especially because they serve the best Niku udon and tasty sushi rice fill with vitamins

The rice was ok, quite big portion and the Teriyaki chicken was good. Salmon Sashimi and the other sushi types were not cold. It made me think that the items may have been sitting on the conveyor belt for quite some time. Next time we'll order directly from the server instead of picking from the belt, but then that would kinda take the fun out of it right?

Was disappointed by the soft shell crab tempura as it was very oily and greasy. When I bit into it, the oil actually oozed out and it was quite a bit of oil. Perhaps the oil wasn't hot enough when they fried it...

The so-called kani chawanmushi was a laugh. I thought it would be similar to Sushi Tei's version with real crab meat strips. haha it turned out to be CRABSTICK pieces! Won't order this dish ever again.

Overall a slightly below average dining experience. Was quite good for people watching though! Saw old uncles with young Vietnamese/Chinese women, middle-aged men ogling the women, typical local families dining out.

For the price we paid, about SGD20per person(excluding the voucher for Teriyaki Chicken Rice), it is far too expensive for the quantity and quality of the food.

Went this outlet during lunchtime, surprisingly its not very packed. The place is abit stuffy though, it feels as if the aircon has broke down.I ordered chicken ramen, and some sushis. The serving of chicken ramen was pretty big.I love the soup, it taste light and level of salt is to my liking.I have nothing to complain about the udon either. The only thing is that the chicken chunks of the ramen werent fresh at all, it has a sourish taste.I finished up most of the content, leaving the chicken meat

Otherwise, the standard of the usual chasoba and chawamushi is fine =)
