This Hong Kong Café is spacious and the furnishings are very modern and comfortable. Service was fast and staffs are very friendly as well. Bought their chicken chop fried rice, which took less than fifteen minutes to serve to my table. Rice is very fragrant and not soggy. Chicken chop was very chewy and juicy, and the chicken skin has been grilled till really fragrant and not oily at all. Is yummy and satisfying, and for less than $10 for this main course is value for money. Read More

Me and my auntie went for a quick dinner and we order the set meal. The set meal consist of a bowl of tom yum flavor noodles and a drink and it only cost $8.90 per set. What's good about this set meal is that you can actually choose the combination of the noodle and the ingredient that you want. 3 types of noodles to choose from : Nissin noodles, wanton noodles, Tang hoon 4 Ingredient choices: Chicken chop, Luncheon meat, Ham & Sausage, Seafood. To complete the meal , you also get to choose between ice lemon tea, honey lemon or iced lime tea cooler. How great is that! I choose wanton noodle with seafood and a cuppa ice lemon while mine aunt chose wanton noodle, chicken chop and ice lemon tea. The service was fast and serving was huge and we couldn't finish it. Both the taste of the combination is nice!! Do give it a try if u happen to drop by IMM during weekdays! ( Not valid on weekends) Read More

The name of the restaurant is perhaps meant to recreate the experience of dining at a street side stall in Hong Kong, but that just doesn't materialise inside a crowded, noisy and busy shopping mall. The restaurant has quite a disorganised seating arrangement, which leaves more to be desired. You feel a little too close to the next table for comfortThe menu has a never ending variety of noodles but the staff are unable to explain anything clearly, given their lack of understanding of the English language. We had to wait for the supervisor, who was supposedly able to clarify the terms. All that took a lot of time, but the food came fast, though. The Instant Noodles looked good as a package, with its huge ladle-like spoon and all. However, tastewise, it was just okay.Similarly, the Vegetarian Fried Noodles was a huge letdown - too dry and hardly any vegetables at all, as well as mock meat!Perhaps, onlt he vegatables were passable. The drinks were normal but what really spoilt our whole dining expeience was this staff member staff standing at the entrance, screaming something like, "Hi, welcome to Streats!" to every single shopper who walked past.Of course, it is important to invite new customers, but not at the expense of the comfort of the dining customers.Another trip Well, I dont think so :(Read More

Streats Hong Kong Cafe carry a wide variety of food items, from chinese cuisine to western cuisine. After having tried their Chinese dim sum, I decided to try their western cuisine. Initially, when they served the pasta, I was surprised by the amount of cheese they used. The entire pasta is covered with thick cheese with very little amount of tomato sauce in the centre. After the dish cooled down, the cheese became very hard to swallow and I had to separate it from the pasta. The chicken was juicy and was covered in a sweet sauce. I like the fact that there was a capsicum which gave the dish a good smell. Pasta wise, they cooked it the way I like it. Not too cooked,Its definitely not the best dish the restaurant has to offer. The amount of cheese is just way too much. However, the pasta and chicken were all tasty. Read More

I was just randomly looking for a plac e to eat on Saturday when we came across this hong kong cafe. The food looked good so we decided to pop in to try. I ordered their famous hong kong XO fried seafood noodles. It was not too bad! I liked the combination of spicy XO noodles. The prawns were huge and fresh but the noodles were slightly too oily for meRead More

I wrote a review the first time I was at the HK cafe and saw a fellow OpenRicer's review of the Macau Fried Rice. It had a good review and looked really good so I decided to go back and give it a try. Although it looks pretty plain, it smelled really good when served. The fried rice is incredible. It has a unique tomato taste..which I'm just going to assume is how Macau fried rice is supposed to taste. I could literally eat just the rice alone. The chicken chop was pretty average. Neither extremely tasty or terrible. The sauce goes well with it and it was tender and moist. A very simple dish and costs around probably $10? (I can't remember). I do recommend it and was glad I actually tried it. Read More

Sat down at Streats HK Cafe to chat with a friend and I decided to have the almond milk tea. It was the first time I've heard of almond milk tea actually and it is exactly like what its name says. The milk tea has a strong almond smell. Thankfully, the taste of the almond isn't too overwhelming for me and it goes away really quickly before the milk tea's taste kicks it. I'd say its a really unique flavour for a milk tea and will definitely have it again. Also, the one I had is the hot version. There's a cold one which costs slightly more (Probably a few cents. Didn't take down prices) Read More

i was recommended to streets hong kong cafe by a couple of friends. we went there and ordered their set lunch. i ordered their wanton noodles lunch set meal. i was kind of disappointed. the noodles were very oily. and they were totally not QQ, it was even clumpy. the char siew does not taste like the normal roasted duck rice kind of char siew. it tasted more like the vegetarian char siew. the wanton was not juicy. the sole saver was their milk tea. it was smooth and milky. but i don't think i may return there again.Read More

I would usually pass by this restaurant whenever I am at IMM, but I didn't really think of dining here until today. My colleague suggested this restaurant for lunch, so that was where we headed to eat.Lunch crowd wasn't that packed and we were able to get a seat right away. They have a lot of choices on their menu and they even have the lunch meals. Since the picture looked so yummy, I decided to order their Macau Fried Rice. My order was in front of me in a matter of minutes. It was presented really well. I like the white plate shaped like a leaf wherein it was served. AS for the food, chicken was really soft and tender. The sauce on top just added to the yummy taste. The rice also was a lot! Though I finished it all because it tasted good. Cannot wait to come back to this resto to try their other dishes. Read More

If you happened to be at IMM and happened to pass by a restaurant in the centre call "Streets Cafe"... I will suggest you to make an illegal U-turn and run for your life... I had never been to such a restaurant who don't even have the most basic customer service. When you are paying a 10% service charge, you will expect the staff are at least train in their customer service skills. We were there celebrating a colleagues' birthday.. but the experience was a nightmare! When we asked the service crew to serve the cake.. guess what??? They actually bring the cake out still in the box and plastic bag! Never mind about that, when we asked for a lighter, no one in the restaurant has a lighter! Maybe they are all anti-smokers or scare a fire will break out by keeping a lighter in the counter.. but I think this is the most basic item a restaurant should have... If you think service is not an issue then think about the price you are paying for the food. It's either too oily or too tasteless.. The porridge served is exactly what you will eat when you are sick and the milk tea served in the jug is special but too expensive I think.. Sw##t T##k is much better and cheaper! To conclude, it's not the best place for you to celebrate your friend's birthday.. neither a place for you to have a quick lunch cos it takes damn long to deliver the food... Not a place for lovey-dovey too as it's located in an open space.. Just save your energy and money! DO an illegal U-Turn alright... so much worth being "fined" than eating all those food there!Read More

EWWWW you will never believe what happened. The staff is TOTALLY CLUELESS. Went here with a group of 8 to celebrate a colleague's birthday over lunch. We told a waitress to keep the birthday cake and serve it later after we are done with the main courses upon cue. What supposed to turn out as a surprise for the birthday girl, became a surprise for ALL OF US. She came out with the cake still in the box and plastic bag. Have never experienced such a dimwitted service before. HELLO, we said SERVE not DELIVER. Come on, I've celebrated birthday at countless restaurant before and NONE ever done such stupid mistake. Geez. When we ask her to take the cake back and SERVE IT. She gave a blank look, expecting us to take the cake > put it on the table > eat it from the box. Yes. no clean plates were given. AND WORST THING. they took no initiative to clear the table. I have a very pretty picture of the uncleared table on my side. Why on earth are we paying for service tax if the staff is totally clueless??? Next, manager was not around to handle the situation. Cashier said "oh, we didn't dare to serve as our restaurant is still pending the HALAL certificate so we do not wish to serve the cake as it may not be halal." LAME EXCUSE which my malay collague (who was not so pissed) stood up and said "What kind of nonsense are you talking about? you mean the cake is not halal? Fourleaves is not HALAL?"CONCLUSION: DON'T VISIT THIS DIMWITTED RESTAURANT WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND EVEN THE BASICS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YET CHARGES SERVICE TAX. on a side note. their food sucks too.
