Second time here at sukhothai with my friend and we ordered a few ale carte dishes to share. We have ordered prawn cake, pandan chicken and tomyum soup (not in picture) and 2 serving of rice. The prawn cakes were fresh and nice. Me and my friend quite like it. Pandan chicken was tender; however it does not have much taste in it. It could have been more flavorful.Last but not least, we are in love with the tomyum soup! The spice is just nice and the mushroom and fish taste fresh too.Me and my fri

Was here for lunch as my boyfriend live nearby. This is my first time trying out this thai restaurant. I was actually attracted to the lunch special as each dishes are only $3.90 (usual price is around $6 if i never remember wrongly). I have ordered phad thai as it is my favorite thai dish. And I absolutely love it! For $3.90 the quality of the phad thai is really good. The noodles were soft and well flavored, a generous amount of prawns and sotong were given too. Whats even better is the price a

With so many versions of Fried Mince Pork/Chicken with Basil Leaf in the market, where are the truly good ones? Sukhothai Kitchen's Version is pretty good in my opinion. With just the right amount of spiciness and flavour, It's addictive with the crunch of the long beans together.

Sukhothai's Home made Prawn Cakes are not oily and you can really see the prawn meat in it. I have not tried prawn cakes before despite many visits to thai joints but this does leave a good impression!

Sukhothai Kitchen (formally known as Arroythai Kitchen) is located at Blk 408 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10. If you are the appetizer kinda person, you must let this dish stimulate your taste buds! The mango is very sour but extremely addictive with bites of onions in between.Do people describe prawn cakes as chewy meaty pieces? Probably not. Dipped in their thai fish & chilli sauces, this goes well ‘naked’ or with rice. It would be even better if the prawn taste can be more distinctive. Loads of garlic

Loads of garlic in this non-oily deep fried pork bites! I’m a garlic lover who loves the fragrant but not overwhelming garlic smell in this crispy meat dish. Cinemas should start selling this so I can replace it over popcorn.

Thai food is never complete with some kick-ass Tom Yum soup! It’s amazing how a harmless clear soup can be so spicy! While you hiss from the spiciness, the sour aftertaste may just make you go back for more.

Another must-have dish whenever people eat thai food! I usually avoid basil leaves at all cost but I find this dish palatable even though I ate it without rice. It wasn’t overly salty nor oily.

I don’t know what sauce they put in there but that glass noodles soak it all up. All the flavors in the pot just went right into the noodles that is cooked exactly to my liking. In fact, the noodles might have just stolen the limelight of the prawns. The simmering is definitely worth the effort. Baked? Literally.

When the steaming fish in its fish metal plate arrived at my table, I whiffed lime/lemon. That actually whetted up a little more space in my stomach. With minced garlic & chilli in tangy sauce, the sea bass is surely one of my favourite!
