was quite anticipating because heard quite good review about the food but it turn out just average. tried the black pig king ramen... is quite unique cause is a clear soup base compared to the normal milky dense soup. quite refreshing taste but i still prefer the normal thick soup. the fried stuff were not that good in the sense that the batter is too thick and the oil never drain properly so didnt taste that nice.

Dumplings which can forgo if there is a next time ~I ordered the Kyushuu ramen but the 'pig smell' was overwhelmed. In fact, the best of this ramen was the egg. The perfect egg yolk flowing out ....Chicken don was average .... but on a commendable note was a good portion given ~Nothing more that I would like to comment on ...In conclusion, it is a come once and bye restaurant ~

There is always a queue at Tampopo whenever we passed by the restaurant, especially during the weekends, the queue can get really long. I went Tampopo for dinner and ordered the pork cutlet rice with curry. The pork was crispy and well fried, the curry was not spicy and the rice was fragrant. I enjoy the meal and it only costs around $20.

I am not much of a noodle person, but the long queue in front of the shop make me want to try out the food there. I had their Miso ramen, which comes with an egg, corn, butter and pork belly. I don't really like the noodles, but the tasty seafood broth make up for everything. The egg is good!! Just like how all traditional ramen store should be, the egg is soft. The york is just like those half boiled egg, and the egg white can just melt in your mouth. Heavenly! The corn do not really match with

The corn do not really match with the salty bowl of noodles. But it act as a contrast and bring out the flavour of the soup more.

Whenever I go to Tampopo, I will order their salmon in teriyaki sauce. The salmon they used is very fresh, you can totally taste the sweetness in every bite. They are very generous with their teriyaki sauce, the salmon is fully coated with the delicious sauce. The sauce is not very salty unlike other Japanese restaurant. It is very sweetish. Eaten with the salmon fish, a splendid combination!
