Thai Cuisine is well-known for being hot and spicy and the ability to balance each dish with sweet, sour, spicy and salty flavours.People either love it or hate it. The first taste of this dish was awful. However, the turmeric taste seemed to diminish when we accompanied it with the rice. It was extremely palatable to drench the fragrant rice with the green curry, mix everything together and eat it! I was initially choked by the spiciness but still, not bad!

The first taste of this dish was awful. Intense turmeric taste caught us off-guard. However, the turmeric taste seemed to diminish when we accompanied it with the rice. In fact, it was quite delicious! It was extremely palatable to drench the fragrant rice with the green curry, mix everything together and eat it! It wasn’t very spicy, just nice for me to tame.

The mee that my friend ordered from thai express did not taste as good as she feel! she had trouble sorting the things she does not want to eat and complete those that she want to eat. It may be probably due to the spicyness of the dish.

My girlfriend dragged to thai express for some thai food. She was craving for some authentic thai food and the only place that came to our mind was thai express. I was not in a mood to eat rice so I ordered their tang hoon. It was very smooth and went well with the soup. I added a little too much chopped chili padi and I had to ordered their thai iced tea to go alone. The sliced fish was very fresh, it was not mushy at all. Overall I am glad that we can get delicious thai food here in Singapore,

I had the prawn omelet rice this time. I'll usually order either the tom yum glass noodles or thai green chicken curry but this time I wanted something different. The prawn omelet was really tasty, filled with generous prawns. The rice grains were moist, I like Thai rice. I also requested for side curry gravy for extra flavoring.

The honey chicken rice is nice but I wouldn't say it is all that. The chicken was quite hard and made it difficult to eat, however the taste was nice. It was sweet. Also, there was no gravy to go with it thus i did not quite enjoy it. I found it a bit bland.

Running around at town area for my work. Feeling thirsty and ordered a cup of Avocado milk shake at Citylink Thai Express for takeaway. The taste of this drink is good, and not too sweet. I'm able to taste the fresh avocado smell, delicious. When i passby Thai Express outlets, i will definitely order avocado milk shake. A drink which is good for skin.

After a tiring day at work, my friends and i decided to wind down and catch up at Thai Express as my friend was craving for its food.

The staff there was very inattentive and we had to wave a couple of times to get their attention.

The set promotions were very affordable though, and a main course, drink and dessert only cost $9.80++. As i did not want to order anything too spicy, i ordered the fried rice meal, only to realise in the end that i had missed out the words 'tom yum' in front of it. The prawns were fresh though!

The fried rice was very fragrant, but unfortunately, i didn't eat much of it as it was too spicy for me and i had to trade with my friend for his white rice. The coconut dessert however, was pretty good and tasted refreshing.

Will be back for its green curry instead!

I have to add that different outlets produce different standards of food though. Here at Raffles City's outlet, the kitchen was generous with the chicken and eggplant. But as far as I remember, the one at Serangoon Gardens.. the green curry was overly sweet with only miserable few pieces of chicken.

The pad thai was good too. Requested to be cooked with less oil and more peanuts topping. It was yummy.

My level of spiciness is just above average but I like Thai food so Thai Express is one of the best place to get affordable and delicious Thai food.I usually order green curry with rice but I decided to try something different that day (plus I was wearing a light colored dress so I didnt want to take the risk!) I usually order green curry with rice but I decided to try something different that day (plus I was wearing a light colored dress so I didnt want to take the risk!) It was grilled seafood with rice. Not exactly Thai style but it went really well with the chilli condiment that came with the dish. The amount of seafood was just nice and it was not spicy at all. It would be great if a bowl of soup could accompany the dish as eating rice can have a drying effect on the throat and taking drinks may spoil the taste of the food (in my opinion)

A great choice for those who can't take spicy food but have to be in a Thai restaurant for some reason!

Appetizer was this small little tower, stacked up neatly with veggies, mango pieces and prawns, with peanuts on top. I liked how neat it looked, and it looked like a dish that was presented in a way/standard that a Thai fine dining restaurant probably would.

I had the Chicken Pad Thai. It is a popular and common Thai noodle dish that can't go wrong. Cos if there's something un-delicious about Pad Thai, the chef of whichever food establishment ought to be given a good lecture or to be shown to the door. The pad thai was nice, but certainly not the best pad thai I have ever tasted in Singapore.

My friend had the Black Pepper Chicken Rice. I guessed the cook was rather over-generous with the amount of black pepper that he or she used. It seemed to cover up the taste of the chicken meat and I couldn't really make out how yummy the chicken was when I did a small tasting of the meat.
