I always visit this Japanese restaurant to have my favourite tofu here. This tofu is unlike those normal tofu which you eat from hawker center. It is very soft, moist and smooth inside. The x-factor of this special tofu is that it will be coated with a thin layer of Japanese flour (if I am not wrong) before deep fried, which give it that fluffy texture for the end probuct. With that light soya sauce gravy topped on it, you can really feel the healthy content and you would not feel sinful at

Taste really good!

the good thing about waraku is that their sets are quite value for money especially for those carbo lovers cause there are always portions of udon/soba and rice. really like their udon, very chewy and the soup is nice too... however this time the waitress service isnt that good because i forgot to mention whether i want soba or udon for my set but the waitress did not remind me and when i asked her about it then she said there was no stock for soba which i thought she should have mentioned it in

The ambience is good and the place is well decorated. Quite a unique interior. The place is big so it can hold group gathering ( do take note of budget too). most food items are average tasting. But do try the eel sushi, it’s really nice. The eel is well marinated and not too dry. As for the rest of the food ordered.. it’ll say i might not return just for that item? On the whole, it’s a “can try” but not a must try.

This was my first time tried this beef and tofu steamboat set. The price is actually reasonable at $29.90. I was very very disappointed with the taste of the soup. It really taste extremely salty+++. Even after adding almost a cup of water by the waiter but the salty taste still remain. I will never never try this dish anymore. For those who like strong and salty food, u can try this.

At Waraku Japanese Casual Dining, there are wide range of Japanese cruisines to choose from. The price here is reasonable and the environment here is spacious and cosy. Nice place for gathering and family outing. Food standard here is alright and staffs are friendly too. Love their cheesy baked rice as lots of cheese are added to it and the taste is yummy ! My verdict: 7/10

Waraku Japanese is a nice place to have dinner and chill out with your friends, with authentic Japanese foods and a gorgeous layout!I ordered the gyu minchi bibimbab, (a Korean dish i believe?) which was minced beef rice on hot stone. The meal took really long to arrive (could be due to the heating of the hot stone) but the food was worth the long wait! The chicken was juicy and tender and i loved beating the uncooked egg yolk into my rice and allowing the hot stone to cook it slightly.

This is one of my more frequently visited Waraku branch in Singapore. Usually I will order their prawn tempura, which is fried to a perfect crisp. I have also tried their Champon Ramen, which is a thick soup ramen. Really hearty and super filling. Their set meals are also value for money. You can get gohan or ramen, with extras like tempura, some sashimi and a bowl of miso soup.I will then wash it down with some iced ocha, or just go to the neighbouring Waraku De Pasta for some desert.
