Went for lunch today with my cousin, we ordered the squid ink pasta & calamari rings, which were fine. As for the chicken baked rice, it was worst baked rice I've ever had. The chicken was a little raw & had a weird flavor to it. I regretted ordering this dish. I took a few mouthfuls of the rice and decided to stop eating. Usually they are closed on Monday. When we stepped in, we were greeted by the waiter and given the menu. The service was quite slow, I guess they have a change of management. Food with a little change, no more jar of ice water given, no Wifi but it was shown in their website and on their wall has free wifi too. We were invited to Baby Nat's birthday. It was western butler served birthday party, i chose the grilled dory as my main course and Benchose the Spring Chicken. Both our main courses were good and we also tried their dessert which was Cream Bulee. This is a nice laidback restaurant, great for families and friends. Decided to go and try it out after reading all the positive reviews. I had wanted the lamb shank, but was told that it was sold out for the day. I have no idea, why is it that every single restaurant that i go to seems to have a limited supply of this particular dish? Located along Tanjong Katong Road, this is one cafe that doesn't like to take itself too seriously but trust me, their food is seriously nice. Lunch at With A Pinch of Salt in Katong was a delight. located in the quiet corner of Katong, they sell very cheap and good pastas and western food. We order a softshell crab pasta and the squid ink pasta plus a caesar salad to share. It only cost us about SGD 20 per head with taxes. The serving for the pasta is good and the taste is great. I would say it is money well spent. recommended to give it a try

With A Pinch Of Salt is a cute little café which sells fusion cuisine. The café is lovely and great for organizing parties. They serve really good pasta as well as western food. I ordered the house salad which consists of egg, bread crumbs, vegetables and lemon dressing. It costs around $10 for the salad which I feel is worth the money. The salad is fresh and crunchy.

this time round we had main courses~we hadbaked fish with full of herbs served with mini cut potatoes and few boiled vegeswas fresh and mild fish sweetness.. soft and not dry~andoven baked chicken thigh with potatoes.. with brown sauce..well i prefer the fish =)
