Taiwanese food located conveniently at raffles city. Staff were friendly and efficient, and their last order can be quite late. However, nothing much to rave about for the food. They have all the common dishes you'll come across easily anywhere. Tried the salt and pepper fried tofu, diced into small cubes; not too oily. Also tried the zha jiang noodles, which is forgettable. Go elsewhere for better food.

It's my first try of the Pan-fried pork liver ($8.9), and i'm so amazed by how well it's done! The sauce is slightly spicy, very thick and flavourful. The pork liver is kind of chewy and not dry at all. Awesome! The Radish and egg pancake (10) is huge! The radish taste is not overwhelmed, but you could still taste a hint of sweetness, very nice to eat with porridge. They do sell the Taiwanese porridge with sweet potato for just $1. Steamed pork petites ($9.9) is delicious too. The flavour of sal

Steamed pork petites ($9.9) is delicious too. The flavour of salted egg sort of diffuses in to the minced meat so well. Very home-cooking flavour.

The Scallop fried rice ($8.9) is done in a pretty high standard too. The fragrant of the scallops and dried shrimp give a pleasant taste, and the crunchy bits of shallots and beans give a good texture to chew on. Lovely!

Xin Zhu fried bee hoon ($8.9) is a must try too, if you are going for a balance plate of food for a quick meal. The bee hoon is stir-fried with lots of ingredients, egg, cabbage, carror, mushroom, minced meat.. just to name a few. Both the flavour and texture are good, thumbs up!

This crispy salted chicken here really has its unique taste. The chicken meat is marinated with their in house sauce for quite some hours before coated with their 'secret recipe' flour and bring to deep fry. Really surprise that the salt used in these chicken does not really make this deep fried chicken too salty or even too oily. One of the best sellers here and I believe most of them will love to try it too.

The taste of this dish is really sweet and quite sour too. The sliced fish is quite thick in pieces but I would prefer those which does not have much flour coated on it before deep fried. Like that sliced onions used in this dish as it makes it abit spicy and add in that extra crunch to it. The portion is just alright and good for around two to three adults. Best to eat it with plain fragrant rice and even on stir fried noodles or bee hoon as well.
