We didn't make any reservation and went there in shock. The queue was madness! If you intend to visit, please make a reservation first else you will have to wait for a good time! It is kind of funny as I just felt I was at some wedding dinner. They don't have any menu for reference and you just eat whatever the waiter/waitress serve. The way they serve it is from the front to the back and each time they will just serve a few dishes and they will only start serving new dishes when they finish walking the round. So we kind of eat together you see. They start serving the fried items first then to soups and porridge and then to the steam food.

Oh yah, for $23.30 after GST and service charges you get free flow of drinks - a selection between Barley and Sour Plum. The Sour Plum drink is kind of special and one of the favourite as it is carbonated.

Their specialties which you can't find elsewhere:

I especially like their custard bun and sesame bun, it just melt in the mouth and warm your stomach! I didn't really like the Abalone Wasabi Kueh Pie Tie as the Wasabi is kind of strong for me.

For the price, you still get to enjoy shark fin which is really a steal!

Time really past very slowly here, one really can eat from 3pm - 6pm as they serve dishes by dishes. We wanted to have our dessert served and end our meal but was told to wait until the dish is ready to be served which was why I felt like attending a wedding dinner.

By the time the dessert was served to our table, people just walked toward the trolley and snatched! Thus, best to visit on weekdays.

It is still worth a visit as it is really value for money!
