This is the first time I tried Fuzhou cuisine. Not knowing what to expect, I am attracted to the interior deco of the restaurant. It's classy with a hint of oldie ambiance. Second course is the kungfu tea. First I thought it gonna be some sort of tea, but it is actually fragrant soup, something like double-boiled chicken with Chinese herbs. Clear and tasty.

Pan-fried cod fish with house recipes is very fresh, but taste pretty ordinary.

The Baked lobster with Fuzhou sauce is the star of the meal ! The fresh lobster meat is so crunchy. the sauce is slightly sweet, and a bit complicated. Tasty!

The fifth course is nothing special. The Braised 'bai ling' mushroom with abalone sauce tastes normal. And this stage of the meal, my stomach still hasn't send out the 'full' signal yet. A bit of a worry hey.

However, the sixth course Seafood vermicelli soup served in Fuzhou style, is so starchy, and I'm full straight away! Apart from the starchy bit, the dish actually taste quite Ok.

The dessert, Fuzhou yam pudding, is definitely my most favorite dish of the meal. The aroma of yam is so strong, the texture is great! It's just awesome! A must try.
