The ambience is great. It’s like stepping through time back into the Chinese history. Previously, the place was a school.

The entrance is the traditional chinese entrance.

The food is pretty expensive. The most expensive dish is their Buddha Jump Over the Wall which costs more than $1,000.

The service is not very good. We went there on a Saturday and ordered the set meal. The set meal costs more than $40 per pax. Most of the dishes come in very small portions but it is very filling because of the second last dish which is the Mee Sua.

Our dining experience was not very good because the dishes keep stopping. We had to wait quite some time for the next dish. It seems like the place is shorthanded.

Their braised peanuts are delicious. I think it’s made with plums?

I think their rice is made by steaming. It tastes different from the ones you cook at home from rice cookers. It tastes way better and it is great to chew on.

The plates they use are very special. It comes in various sizes and shapes.
