So I order gong Bao frog leg to go with the porridge. The porridge is smooth and it goes well with the gong bao sauce. I went during the restaurant week to Ochre Italian situated at Orchard Central. It was my first time there still. Located at the high floor next to the garden roof top in Orchard Central, this place seems like it is good for a romantic meal owning to the ambience. It will definitely be more romantic at night. It wasn’t very crowded during lunch when I went and in fact there were only us...
I personally love this place, ambience is good, wide variety of food and price is reasonable. We ordered the crackling pork and seafood paella to share. The crackling pork combo set comes with the roasted pork, barbequed pork and potatoes, it is really fresh and yummy and portion is big, i greatly recommend this. The seafood paella is average but people around me seems to enjoy it too. Overa...
I wonder why it took me so long to find this gem. It is at a deserted part of smith street market, same section as the famous Ikan Bilis Yong Tau Food. I was drawn to the smell of fish soup and fried hor fun. When i saw the fire that erupted from the wok while the uncle was frying the hor fun, I knew that this will be good! I know this will certainly achieve the wok hei taste that is unfo...
I ordered this double shrimp burger. Firstly, i thought it would be those kind of process meat and made into a patty but however i was WRONG! I was deeply wrong after my first bite. In fact i was kinda shock because...There are really shrimp within the patty itself! I look the burger and how it taste especially! I would not mind eating this next time.
Their ambience was ok,not very noisy. Price is abit pricy. Ordered their signature hot plate. The steak is not overcooked ,Taste juicy. Their baked potato is the best. very soft & i like those small red tiny things on top <i don't know the name of that > Is very crunchy, abit salty but very delicious !!

This is the Chicken and Mushroom Pie ($8.95++). The pie contains succulent chicken chunks and button mushrooms in cognac cream sauce. I liked that there was so much sauce in the pie. The filling was very satisfying. The pie was soft, buttery and thin. The gravy on the mash was delicious as well and really complemented the sauce that was in the pie too. I will return to try other p...
After Ice skating, went to nearby restaurant " Eat at Taipei 吃在台北 " and decided to give it a try. The environment is still okay, crowd on Sunday afternoon is still not very crowded. After placing order, food is served within 10minutes (that's considered quite fast speed) Order the Taiwan-Style Braised Minced Meat Rice ($8.50) , Don't really like it as the ...

My all time favourite drink (soya bean), I feel that this stall is quite average though (from my point of view) compared to other place i tried before, but im alright with it though. The service here is alrite, environment is quite neat and clean. I ordered a cup of iced soya bean millk, the soya milk looks quite transparent (the colour i mean, maybe its quite diluted), sweetness le...

celebrated my colleague's birthday here.. had a voucher on 1 for 1 main course.. so we ordered vongole, carbonara, portobello & funghi pizza. portobello has a very 'weird' smell despite pouring lots of tabasco sauce. it's not of my taste.funghi pizza is nice, has a mixture of salty and sweet taste, upon adding tabasco sauce, it's awesome!the pasta ain't as good as the first tim...
While Madam Kwan's has kept its exact opening date under wraps, it failed to keep curious foodies from flooding the restaurant last Sunday. Despite the torrential crowds at peak hours, I was whisked into the restaurant in no time at 5pm- hooray! With fluffy and well-separated grains, the light yet aromatic coconut rice was one of the best I've had- better than Grandma's an...
