crystal jade OK Jan 09, 2013

One of the main reason why I like Crystal Jade is because of its chilli. I can literally eat the chilli first without anything while waiting for the food to come. Right amount of spiciness, somewhat crispy to me. The salted peanuts which they serve when you enter the restaurant, is very tasty. I ordered steam siew mai and a glass of orange juice, both were good. Thumbs up!

snacking Smile Jan 09, 2013

The curry puff's are so tasty and big, worthwhile for tea-time. The aromatic and delectably moist curried potato filling boasts the perfect balance of spices, and is studded with a generous chunk of chicken and wedge of hard boiled egg. Best eaten fresh and piping hot from the stall, Old Chang Kee curry puffs somehow manages to remain tasty and crispy even when eaten cold.

The best snack is Popiah, They serve all nonya dishes here. They have assam fish, rendang, chicken curry. I just order rice then put a few dishes, like tahu tempeh, fried fish and chicken gravy with alot of sambal and anchovies. So Delicious and yummy. For desserts, i ordered ondeh-ondeh and some pineapple tarts. Excellent place to have a quick lunch and take-away.

Dim sum Smile Jan 09, 2013

Royal China Dim Sum is definitely one of the best Dim Sum places in Singapore. The prices are rather affordable as well; around $20 per person depending on how much you eat. The custard bun is very tasty and fluffy. The desserts are also very tasty, especially the egg tarts. The pan fried carrot cake is really very crispy, can't stop eating away. Highly recommended.

The buffet here has too much variety, all the local delights. got popiah. Satay, chicken wings, chicken rice, gado-gado. The desserts are the local flavours ice-cream like yam, sweetcorn, durian. They serve alot of variety of seafood also, Jumbo prawns in barbeque style, fish in chilli gravy, kway teow. The staff are kind and helpful. Location is excellent.
