like the bento from umisushi because it is delicious!
the rice is nicely cooked, with some stickiness and chewiness with it. the gravy that is simmered onto the rice is teriyaki sauce and its sweet and sour. i like the side dish which is the cold preserved vege that is sourish and appetizing. the chicken given is quite large in portion also, and tender and juicy.

ordered the ginseng chicken set (forgot about the price but it should be around less than $15)

the soup is quite full with ginseng flavour, its quite a special and new thing for me, but i dont really can accept the taste, and i not very sure whether is it authentic or not.. anyway the chicken is quite large for one person portion, and inside there are stuffed with glutinous rice which is soften because of the soup.

duck duck Smile Oct 28, 2012

Duck porridge $3
I seldom tried duck porridge so decided to try one. The duck is tender and well braised, and the gravy is nice seasoned. Anyway the porridge is bland and tasteless, and the rice grain isn't that fine and soft yet. So the taste mainly depend on the duck gravy only.

Duck kuey teow soup $3
The kuey teow is not bad, very springy and slippery. The soup is also full with duck flavour, and the duck meat given is in generous portion.

Kuey chap $6 for two person portion
The kway chap is more to duck instead of pork base. I can't accept too much of pork intestine and the inner organs but for the duck intestine I am okay. Moreover there are quite a lot of duck meat given, so I don't eat too much of the inner thing. The braise gravy is recommended, very flavourful.

chocolate brownie cake with vanilla ice cream scoop! $9.5
I just love all those sinfully awesome dessert such as chocolaty brownie cake, the molten lava cake, rich chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and many others related to chocolate. This brownie isn't the best of what I had before, maybe due to its portion is too much and too greasy, but the first half of my consumption is really great. The brownie is baked with quite a lot of walnuts which I love it, then topped with the chilling ice cream to give the cold and hot sensation, and spammed with chocolate syrup that almost covered the whole cake.

i always love korean side dishes! but this one is a bit quite few types given. the anchovies, mashed potatoes and red beans only.

set meal: beef wrap rice and kimchi soup
the bulgogi beef is quite nice and tasty if eaten like that, but if wrap with the rice and vege then the taste is a bit bland already. for the kimchi soup, i always love this kind of spicy and sour soup so i think it's nice and warmy!
